Dan O deserves a game ball...

21 points today huh. Mork really opened up that playbook this game
And if it weren't for Dallas getting hurt he wouldn't have brought out Cam for that TD play.... All this after the DJ fumble.

Richt is clueless in every department. Really quite impressive

k9,

This garbage makes the Coker T seem exciting by comparison.

As much abuse as Coker took as an offensive coordinator and then head coach, Miami's offense was pretty prolific through 2002. I was only until Chud forced Berlin behind center in 2003 that it started really falling apart. Recruiting became just awful and the rest is history.

That being said to your point we have to be the easiest club to scout and scheme against in the Power 5 bar none.

In the instance you pose, all he’ll do is hire an OC he has philosophical congruency with. This will only extend the issue. No...Richt must go. He’s diseased meat.

Richt is not a natural leader. He’s a #2 guy that doesn’t understand how to manage sub-groups from above, and then connect the dots to congeal them all into a unified whole.

And he’s far too insecure to hire a bright and innovative young OC. He has a deep-seated need to be the smartest guy in the QB/OC room. I believe this he’s intimidated by younger talent with an innovative mind, because has a fear of being replaced or being seen as irrelevant.

nail hit head, here

The guy is a rotary phone in an era of smart phones

Orlovsky was amazing. He nailed everything all night long from his opening monologue (which sounded like someone from this board wrote it for him) to the end of the game. Also, kudos to ESPN, they did their homework as well on Richt. They came out him hard with that planned graphic stating that Richt has only had 1 top 20 offense in 18 years as a head coach. Ouch.

that was great, kinda threw water on that whole myth of Richt as some sort of offensive guru...
