Dan O deserves a game ball...

Loved this guy. Laid it out in the open for all to see.

Some body needs to make a video of him calling out Richt.

I tried to record it. Here's all I could get of Dan O talking about Rick.

He was reading from this board for his "research"

Dude went in ham on Richt

It was research talk, friend. Nothing about this game and loss says there were play-calling issues. Sad to see, but it seems like some kids are either trying too hard or not trying at all. It's all schtick from these talking heads and people can't get enough of it; dudes even tweeting him to be our OC.

he Was spot on all night

How about that stat they kept showing on Richt ... “Only 1 Top 20 offense as a head coach”

HE was literally dumbfounded as to how and why our O is so bad, just like all of us. First guy to say it publicly though.
Not the first, but certainly the boldest.

You see, the only way you fix a problem is by being honest about it. Dude did us a favor being honest on air tonight.

this Pitt game might be the least attended Senior Day in recent memory. I do feel bad for the departing players to have to exit in that manner

****! I was going to post this. He was dead on his following comments:
  1. Offense too "Stagnant" before the snap allowing the defense to easily read what's happening
  2. Needs modernize the offense. Bring in an OC that is more in tune with teaching today's offenses.
  3. Incorporate pre-snap motion to confuse the defense.

Unless Miami hires a top shelf OC and OL coach it is pretty much a loss.

In the instance you pose, all he’ll do is hire an OC he has philosophical congruency with. This will only extend the issue. No...Richt must go. He’s diseased meat.

Richt is not a natural leader. He’s a #2 guy that doesn’t understand how to manage sub-groups from above, and then connect the dots to congeal them all into a unified whole.

And he’s far too insecure to hire a bright and innovative young OC. He has a deep-seated need to be the smartest guy in the QB/OC room. I believe this he’s intimidated by younger talent with an innovative mind, because has a fear of being replaced or being seen as irrelevant.
