nope and item 4 why blake should have been fired. how can the AD of one of the most important ACC programs allow this to happen?

In fairness, part of the blame falls on the ACC, but yes, I would imagine that a powerful AD that exudes significant pheromones could convince the cable companies to carry the ACCN.

Glad to see so many people finally recognizing this...not saying you didn't, just finding it hilarious that so many people that pumped Manny, getting upset with any criticism, are now leading the charge...lol

I do like the new ACC commish. He seems to "get it" that basketball is not driving big TV rights deals, and I believe he is outside of the Tobacco Rd Mafia. I will preface this by saying I do not want to hear about cord cutting, but it is actually incredible that three years post launch the ACC Network is not even an option for the largest cable provider's customers. Swofford and Blake James deserve one another for their ineptitude.

Absolutely. And not sure if you saw this in another thread, but if the rumors that Beta Blake was trying to get a spot with the ACC are even moderately accurate, I find it amusing that even the ACC doesn't want that Ricky-Bobby-evil put on them.

I did see those, and thought it was hilarious that they saw his work first hand and said no. And then simultaneously we have Packer and Durham telling us about how great Blake was in his roles with the ACC and how Miami fans are terrible for chasing him off. The ACC telling him no was pretty great validation of who was right and who was wrong there.

Up here in the DMV, and despite many UVA/VT fans in the local area, Maryland Terps got Big Ten Network (BTN) on Comcast, no problem. No such luck with the ACCN. If U of MD was still in the ACC, we'd be sitting pretty.

I am in Atlanta and get the BTN standard but cannot get the ACCN. It is crazy. I do like that the new ACC Commish came from the Big 10 (AD of Northwestern). He had a lot of support to become the Big 10 commissioner before they went with Kevin Warren.

That's crazy. With most of the ACC teams reasonably nearby. What's the closest B1G team to Atl? Maryland? OSU?
