Who Oregon?

I think that's playing the result from yesterday. Oregon still has more talent than those three teams, and Lanning is still a quality coach despite yesterday's loss. Not sure how losing yesterday creates this narrative now that he's somehow a corch.

Is he a top 5 coach in the nation? Probably not, but he has won some meaningful games even if he did lose to OSU in a rematch in the playoffs.

Are people still upset about how Lanning embarrassed Deon's overrated Colorado team?

Am not saying he's a corch, just that with the team he has this year I wouldn't be shocked if he loses to 2 two out of the 3 quality+ teams left on his schedule. The NW comment was made in jest based on NW beating PSU yesterday.

Plenty of schools have boosters like this. He deserves credit for recruiting at the level he does.

I think they were exposed when they had to go to 2OT against a PSU team that lost to a UCLA team with no coach and no coordinators the next week and then to Northwestern the following week.

Hardly … look at the stats for that game … PSU hung around just long enough to have a shot at the end … Oregon is a very young team playing during a whiteout don’t forget Penn St lost their quarterback I think in the next game (maybe 2 nd game game after that). It was Indianas defense that exposed Oregons O Line and when pressured Dante Moore couldn’t deliver the goods that game was a tossup until the final minutes with their last TD coming during the last minute

the Dan Lanning Ducks have only one win against a team with a winning record and that would be a (5-3) Northwestern) team that btw coudnt beat half the HS teams in the 305 and lost to the green wave of Tulane by 20 points
