Dan Enos

At what point will y’all realize this offense of personnel ain’t all that..under center, in shotgun doesn’t matter. This oline has look just as ok the guy as it has under center
Yes but much of that is because of the coordinator. I'm confident that Mike Leach could get more out of this offense even with the same OL. Also you have to admit that this OL is insanely bad even by UM standards lol.

It’s the worse oline In the power 5..idk about the leach part tho

Do you think Dan Enos would benefit calling a game from the box instead of sidelines??? I know he wanted to be close to mentor QBs but maybe getting a better view of field and alignment maybe a good change of pace

He would have done fine at Alabama they have a great offensive line. He's not cut out for Miami IMO, he won't improvise and use our QB's to the best of their ability. Coker did the same thing with Berlin, how some of these guys get paid millions of dollars is beyond me.
It was ridiculous how Coker didn’t use Berlin in the shotgun, that’s how we won the comeback game against Florida. It’s what Berlin ran in HS. Certainly wouldn’t have lost to Tennessee that season.

To me this is a very good question. I notice that we are one of the only teams I've seen that has all of it's coaches & coordinators on the sidelines during games. Not a problem for me as i think this helps the cohesiveness & communication of the team with each other. Just something I've noticed and wondered about myself.

Is anyone still buying that we stole this guy from Saban as his OC? I’m thinking he has a good laugh about it on a daily basis.

"now for us, I dont agree with the assessment going spread would fix our problem problems long term unless we get the oline fixed. getting it fixed means competing at a top 10-5 level annually
"

I have to bring this up again because the bolded quote above is where we are not communicating. I have addressed this multiple times. I'm not saying that going spread will magically fix any core problems we have. That isn't my assessment. My assessment is that going spread is a natural fit for the program going forward. In stating that I am making the assumption that our OL will get much better under a competent staff no matter what we run and that the putrid line we have currently is a freakish outlier. Going spread does not mean that we don't run the ball. Going spread does not mean that we cannot utilize multiple personnel groups. It means that whatever the personnel group is that we have in that we spread them out thus spreading the defense out.

To touch on the OL again, the line we have now is IMO the worst OL in P5. We all know that UM isn't exactly known for it's offensive lines but it has never been this bad and it is very reasonable to expect that it will not be this bad going forward. What exactly do you mean by getting the OL fixed? You say fixed means competing at a top 5-10 level annually. Do you mean the team being ranked in 5-10 range annually? Do you mean the offense being ranked in the top 5-10?

Again, I really don't think we are that far apart. Honestly, I think that semantics is where most of the disconnect is.
