Dan enos turned down promotion at bama for Miami sight unseen

I think it was 95% Saban being a prick. A chance at turning UM's O around and working with Diaz was the other 5%.

Like many posters have already said, if he was in a rush to be a HC, the smarter play would have been to stay at Bama as OC and coach that ridiculously talented and high powered offense for one year and then be a HC once Tua and Jeudy leaves. Easy money. I think he is here for the long run. Maybe he would leave for an NFL staff gig but not seeing him rushing to be a college HC.

At the end of the 2017 season I started a thread about the possibilities that Manny was gonna leave for a HC job and I got major neg reactions.
We all want Enos to produce a killer offense and definitely I think he will, however, if he turns the U around offensively, in two or max three years he's gone, imo.

And that’s fine, change can be a good thing

I only give him 2 years max!! Just to highlight your point about the offense and the reason I say 2 years, check out the quote from our star recruit.

Don Chaney: Dan Enos' Miami Hurricanes offense "mind-blowing"

Chaney probably seen the scrimmage Sunday and witness what Enos has instore for this offense. "Mind blowing"! I'm getting a little less nervous about Florida if Enos to the OF as Manny was to our D the past 3 years!!
