Dan Enos on the starting QB for Friday

There's no point in discussing further. You will always believe he sucks and I will always believe he'd kill it in the right offense. Let's move on.
Where's your Tate Heisman trophy avatar you colossal dumb****?

Diaz and Enos have gone from "who gives us the best chance to win" to "who gives us the best chance to eat". I for one would have preferred they QB competition has carried over into the season b/c I do think Petty (and Martell probably) do better in real-game situations. Granted having a weaker opening game might have better suited that situation.

LOL... the offseason 3 QB competition that resulted in the CIS who starts polls, marathon posts and classic arguments meant nada. The real competition is under way with real opponents. When Perry throws three int's (and it will happen) we will get to see Tate run the offense and complete the cycle.

I think both QBs have very strong cases to start,

JW has been playing well (except in the last game, he was horrific) and improving, but he has 2 flaws (Lack of feel for the deep ball and not scrambling when there’s a lane) atm, that coupled with an inefficient OL is hurting the offense.

Perry can sling it and throw a beautiful deep ball, has an ok ball placement for the most part and looks more mobile than JW. But he will give opposing defenses a lot of chances to make plays on the ball, he goes for broke way too often and if he can’t reel it in he can cost his team games.

At the end of the day if Perry is the guy that will put the ball on JT4 and Brevin hands he should be the guy going forward.

Brevin has been productive in every game except vs Bethune but Perry absolutely was finding thomas(and he made plays when opportunity presented itself). I don’t think any play Thomas made was a play that Williams couldn’t make at the end of the day but if he wants to continue to be the guy he has to find Thomas more often for sure.

Thing is with Perry you just know he's dying to throw interceptions. Also you're good for at least 3 plays where he pulls off **** like going the wrong way on the bootleg. This is not last year's defense that's going to clean up all the offense's errors. That being said, he can make big plays happen.

Very tough decision.

It’s definitely a tough decision, We will see how it goes

N’Kosi will open up the run game and bubble screen. His threat of the deep ball puts more pressure on a defense.

"Jarren or N'Kosi" has a very "Jacory Harris or Stephen Morris" type feel to it.

The difference between the two is probably very small, and the results will be pretty similar.
Is this to say Jarren is Jacory or Stephen ? Because he can’t throw a deep ball for **** and I think both of those QBs could

Agree with prety much everything you said, just think Perry is more comfortable taking risks, so he connects with Thomas and Brevin on bigger plays. Maybe VaTech defense is awful, but Brevin and JT4 went off. Since last year Perry and Brevin have a nice rapport

The only thing I would say about JW being able to make the same plays, is that I agree he has the tools, but atm I haven't seen him make those plays to JT4 this season, I think it's something that he will have to progress, don't think it's a given he would had made those plays.

This is probably true. But we can't afford starting a noodle arm at QB right now. Give me the gun slinger.

I’m just saying the throws specific to Thomas, 13 yard catch and 25 yard td catch. He has the arm to make those throws, any qb does at this level tbh.
