Dan Enos on the starting QB for Friday

Like Jarren Williams, but I see the limitations in his game
1. He can't throw down field and he puts to much Air under his deep balls.
2. Jarren has slow feet and slow reflexes and this is why he is not playing faster, an I do not see this limitation getting better.

Im not taking sides but I am also not going down the mob trail of making up rumors and throwing Jarren under the bus. Perry did a good job under the circumstances but I am not ready to say he is by far the clear cut QB.

It is not throwing him under the bus.

Today, he just would not make that throw. He would take a safer option if there was one. Part of the reason he holds the ball too long is not seeing options like that one, as open.

It was a set f-cking play of a fake block and go by Brevin. Rosier would have hit him.

Tate was the best QB for this team, and the athletes on Offense. We should be running a spread based offense that utilizes quick passes and option/RPO concepts. Enos saying he adjusts his system to fit the personnel is complete BULL****

Instead Enos chose a guy that fit "his system" better. Sounds like Richt to me SMH

Excellent surmise and all that. The kid has got " happy feet " now and is too damned WORRIED about getting TKO'd in the pocket! So why can't CORCH Eno's give him only TWO READS, and if there's nobody open, then run for your physical health. LMFAO

It dont matter the offense. He has been told no twice. No big schools was even interested when he transferred from osu.

There's no point in discussing further. You will always believe he sucks and I will always believe he'd kill it in the right offense. Let's move on.

Good idea mackjones, but our OL doesn't give time for ANY progressions on most plays.
 
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We saw Perry come in against FSU last year and light up, arguably, the worst FSU 2ndary they've had in a while. We all crowned him, then reality hit the following week.

I still see a lot of bad habits. Yes, he had a great yardage game, but he still stares down his receivers and not go through progressions which lead to sacks against Vag Tech, and a couple of close ints. VAG TECH is that bad, so they didn't capitalize, just like FSU was just that bad last year. Frankly, I'm not all in on either of these QBs.

I want to see what he does against UVA, like last year. Until I see us beat a P5 team, I'm not going to get my hopes up on anything, regardless of who's named the starter.
