Dan Enos on the starting QB for Friday

I will say that Enos' attitude and demeanor has changed since the presser after the gaytor game.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I find it odd that the OC/QB coach doesn't decide who the starting QB should be.

Enos did seem to get excited talking about Perry's performance. His demeanor seemed to change a bit.

I hate to speculate and I hate speculation. I'd rather deal with facts. That being said, is Jarren starting over Perry because of Perry's antics last year and Diaz doesn't fully trust him?

One QB can't throw deep and the other can't throw short... Only at Miami lol

Tate was the best QB for this team, and the athletes on Offense. We should be running a spread based offense that utilizes quick passes and option/RPO concepts. Enos saying he adjusts his system to fit the personnel is complete BULL****

Instead Enos chose a guy that fit "his system" better. Sounds like Richt to me SMH
Exactly this!!

Does this corching staph even need to watch anything this week, besides the game replay tapes?

Perry had more success because he extended plays better than JW can. I have yet to see JW escape the broken pocket...scramble and direct receivers through traffic. Throw in some pump fakes and hard nosed runs and that's hat we require with our OL.

Yeah Perry makes stupid mistakes...but in the last few games JW hasn't made great choices or throws on many occasions.

Jarren put everything he had into that deep post to Pope against Bethune. The ball traveled 55 yards.

Since then he's had his clavicle separated from his shoulder blade. Go to **** Diaz & Enos.

Perhaps, then they should have all three line up and have the D guessing if it’s gonna be long, short or a combination throw...JUST JOKING!

"chances" my ***. You don't know unless you actually get consistent play in games. Practice is not the same as games. So maybe you should cease with your bullcrap. Now!

Again, there's a REASON under the Sunshine state sun, WHY your boi Tate is 3rd-string QB! dUh

Only reason they started Jarren and would continue to do so is Manny is (as we know) all talk so far.

He wanted to be "fast and explosive and exciting" on offense, but chose a QB because he protected the ball.

Perry makes plays downfield.
He scores points.
He bust cheeks.

Jarren completes 5 yard passes and "protects the ball."
Zzzzzzzzz.

Manny is conservative and coaching not to lose.
Maybe he'll have a big boy moment and name Perry the starter. We'll see.

This is a lie. Enos chose Jarren as well out of camp. They both said it was clear he was the winner of the competition. Fake News at its best.

JW never throws that ball....

You could have punted that to Brevin he was so wide open. He actually put too much loft on it.

Im not taking sides but I am also not going down the mob trail of making up rumors and throwing Jarren under the bus. Perry did a good job under the circumstances but I am not ready to say he is by far the clear cut QB.

They can say whatever they want. If JW starts against UVA, he will not finish.

Earlier I suggested that if Miami's offense is stuck in nuetral on their opening three possessions, then pull JW and come in with the Perry the reliever.

That's what's gonna happen. Just listening to Manny, it's clear he has a very short leash. Maybe not even 3 possessions.
