Here’s Dan Enos mic’d up during his first spring at Arkansas, with QB Brandon Allen. Allen would go on to make an enormous jump the next season:

- yds/pass he went from 76th nationally in 2014 to 5th in 2015
- completion % from 87th in 2014 to 17th in 2015
- passer rating from 61st to 5th

And more impressive is this wasn’t a SOPH jump. Allen made this jump from his JR to SR year after starting the previous 2 years. Incredible QB turnaround job by Enos, hard to find a better turnaround than this.

Enos seems very laid back in the video, goofing around with the players - but clearly knows what he’s doing with those drills.

I’ve been detailing Allen’s jump in production to anyone who would listen since we announced Enos as our guy. Just phenomenal. Great coaching isn’t coincidental.

BTW - Arkansas’ TE in 2015 won the Mackey.

I’m pumped.
