Damon Wilson getting racist messages

Over the last 20 hours, have learned a lot about their fanbase. I want to say I understand what it’s like to be in dark times as a fan. But, I don’t remember ever being this desperate. Not even post-FIU loss. It’s hilarious how some of them try to straddle the ‘college football isn’t even college football now’ vs ‘buttttttt it was a hold and it’s not fairrr’ line. Do you care or not care? Or, are you just really frustrated?
 
Eh, it’s more likely this Kade guy has an enemy, bitter ex, etc. that set this up and sent those messages than it is that a guy who works in IT would be stupid enough to send something like that from his own account with his real name and photo. That image above says he only has one post made from his IG account. This just seems off.

I spent 3 years focused and specialized on IT audit and internal control consulting and worked with some of the smartest in the field in the world. Saw a former client in articles on a national publication on cyber security the other day.

People do and say stupid **** when they’re drunk. (No excuse for this kind of message and I’d never do that and most wouldn’t but if it’s in you the alcohol will bring it out)
 
If it becomes a legal matter, then it will be verified it was coming from him unless the “other person”masked things well using VPN, Onion Router/Tor, etc.

Wow! That's weird in this day and age. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and playing sports was the best thing for race relations. Once you've sweated and endured pain with your brother you could care less what they looked like. These cats are extremist bull****ters. He probably doesn't really feel that way. He's just an internet punk.

I don’t disagree people say and do stupid **** when they are drunk, and maybe that’s what this is.

To me though, it seems odd that an IG account with a guys real name, photo, but only one post is using said IG account to send messages racist enough to make a klan member blush.

Yep, probably had some prop bet on Wilson. Wilson recorded 0 statistics last night. Maybe if he wasn't getting held all night, he may have got a sack or made some tackles.

Regardless, that is not a reason to be making a nasty and threatening post like that. His actions need consequences. First, need to lose his job. Second, need to apologize personally to Wilson. Third and last, he needs some sort of physical beat down. Not saying he needs to be put in the hospital, but some punches to the face, body, etc. People feel too comfortable these days posting what they want. It's ok to post an opinion, but never ok to be that nasty and threaten someone and their family.
 
He’s an FSU fan that probably started the day thinking they would get blown out. As the game dragged on and he drank even more high noons it looked like FSU could win. His emotions mixed with alcohol took him on a wild ride. The Hail Mary in ot getting called back broke open the gates and this is what came flooding out. Since Wilson was the one who got held he became the target. He will now regret this for the rest of his life.
