Not even 15 hours removed from the national championship loss, and recruiting already rolls on.
Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes got some positive news on the trail, as On3’s Pete Nakos reported that former five-star and Missouri EDGE transfer Damon Wilson will be visiting Miami today.
Wilson is considered one of the top edge rushers in college football, and this won’t be an easy one. He’s already taken visits to LSU and Texas Tech, two programs more than willing to throw their money around in the portal.
On the field, he finished the season with 47 total tackles, 9.0 sacks, and 9.5 tackles for loss, establishing himself as Missouri’s most consistent pass-rush threat. He also added an interception, and his nine sacks ranked among the best in the SEC.
He originally committed and signed with Georgia out of high school, then after seeing limited snaps, he transferred to Missouri where he had a breakout year.
Recruiting never stops — especially when players like Damon Wilson are on the board.
