ABC Up Massive 104% in Noon Window; Miami Continues To Tune In for the Hurricanes
ABC saw its ratings for the noon window increase by a massive 104% year-over-year, as Virginia at Miami (noon, ABC) earned a 2.7 overnight, one of the top 3 highest-rated games of the week across all networks. The local rating for Hurricanes’ come-from-behind victory in Miami was a 9.0, the best in the market for a non-primetime game this season.

What did Manny say last week?

"Order is restored."

Anyone who's been a fan longer than 10 years (and I credit you guys for coming on during the dark ages) knows that this is how it's always been. Miami is a vast media conspiracy to make a sporting event can't miss television.

Everybody is into the turnover chain. It's crazy I heard this Ohio State fan said, you can't really explain the aura but your just enthralled by it. Lol

It was God awful trying to find Alfred Games on streaming during the Golden Age, I’m here to tell you.

I would like to see the Home and Home series with FAU come back, though, in honor of Lame Kitten’s absolute beatdown victory over Butch Da Gawwwww last night.

X on their backs getting bigger and bigger. People all.over the country now tuning in praying to see.the Canes get beat.

This is part of the reason I think no one has to worry about us getting into the playoffs.

No one will admit this but ESPN executives will be chirping in the ears of the playoff committee behind the scenes no matter what happens in the ACC Championship.
But it is moot since we will win the ACC Championship anyway.

You might be right, b/c they keep pushing a 1 loss OU/Clemson team before us. That's why I want us at the #1 or 2 rank.

When Miami is playing the way Miami should - it's must see TV from every angle..

1. Obviously we as diehard fans are tuned in

2. The Haters - Totally tuned in routing for us to lose

3. The general sports fan - going to be drawn to the excitement Miami football can bring (I have multiple Non-College Football fans up here in New England that have started to watch Miami games)

ACC title game will be a TV executive dream.match up. Will be surprised if not the highest rated title game this season or maybe ever. Defending NC against most hated team in.the USA. Not another title game will.draw that.much attention nationwide

I agree...... ****, I'll say the 2006-2015 years has been even more depressing than the 95-99 years. At least then we knew why we wasn't as good as before

Miami Hurricanes are must see TV again. Gotta love how the announcer was talking about the players were getting pats on the back all week when we were down by 14 points twice. By the end of the game they were Jockin'.

I think viewers, with no interest in Miami, tune in and root for a Turn Over Chain appearance. It's an event to celebrate.

For me, the best part of the broadcast was right before the pick 6 when Tessitore was trying to setup the UVA drive. He was talking about how VT and Notre Dame failed here and was about to start praising UVA then the pick 6 happens. You can hear a bit of despair and almost disgust in his voice as he makes the call. Game was over at that point, it was beautiful.

Yeah, a hip new thing hapening in the game itself, rather than watching some geek band member do a wussy dance to "dot an i" at halftime.
