I tried to find a logical place to put this Cook article, but couldn't find one. No mention of Miami in it but I'm posting it none-the-less. I understand many will be ****ed about it since he's not a Cane, but there is literally a post a second about this kid anyway.

Cook Recruiting for Florida, Sets Second Official
-Did not get to attend Florida's game vs Arkansas over the weekend, but announced he would take an official to Arkansas next
-"I'm going to Arkansas November 2nd," said Cook. "I'm going just because of Randy Shannon. We have a great relationship and I just want to give them a little attention because of him.
-Has already taken a visit to Texas and plans to go to the Florida vs FSU game, USC and either Ohio State or Alabama
-Says he's just trying to see everything but he has his mind made up
-Has not been able to go to Florida games this year because of his team's schedule. Played fellow U*** commit Ermon Lane on Saturday
-Talks about how he recruited Ermon to Florida
-Says he is actively recruiting Joe Yearby, Trevor Darling and Gilbert Johnson to Florida
-"I'm 100% with Florida. I feel like that's my school and I could go there and we could do some great things."

Still don't understand why people say we have a chance but...

And lol at Cook recruiting Yearby

If Yearby were to flip to Florida, Cook would flip to another school. He doesn't want to be a backup anymore

yawn let me know when this kid wakes up and realizes that u*** is inferior to um in every way imaginable, i mean the thing is that whenever i got into an argument with U*** fans they'd always bring up the one same thing: It's about who's better now, miami fans always live in the past, while that may have been true, they can't even use that anymore, IMO it cannot be hard to see that Miami is better than U*** in every aspect and if a kid can't be smart enough to realize that simple fact of life, he will not succeed in college, yeah maybe I'm a radical homer but so what. with all that said I would gladly take this kid if he woke up but until then, I don't give me ****, and neither do they:

So Randy's recruiting central????

I thought the same thing! Eff Randy!! The guy wouldnt pick a phone when central called but, as Arkansas' LB coach, he tries to recruit one of central's star players... I know Randy is family but its hard to believe the guy doesn't just crawl under a rock a die somewhere for the way he left a program that he supposedly loved.

This has nothing to do with Cook (There's a reason he doesn't start, and that reason is committed to UM), it just ****es me off how hard Randy is working in Arkansas compared to how little he actually did as a HC in Miami.

Bielema probably told Randy to recruit Central or he can get out.

With that said, I don't think Randy's problem here was lack of work ethic, it was that he had no idea how to be a head coach. It's not that easy. But who cares? He's gone, we have Golden, and we're doing well. Lets all just move on, please.

Hey that just means either UM lands Fournette somehow or more than likely extends a very late offer to 2014 6'2" 220lb RB D'Andre Ferby. Either way UM will have addressed the need for a power back in this class.

Ferby would've been offered already. Getting Fournette would be amazing but it's unlikely.
