dalvin cook interview today

"I wanna go somewhere that feels like family"

Goes to the school his teammates aren't committed to that his brother doesn't attend that is 500 miles away from his actual, literal, I R1'd out of her ******, family lives.

God I hate myself for following recruiting. I really do.

They mention Freeman, but Freeman wanted to be at the U and never got recruited. Also, Freeman will either be in the NFL or a senior. So how's that going to work out?

im not sure on that.................but we couldve had him early an the inside track....his fam is/was originally from S.GEORGIA....and i think the rb coach or who ever recruited hFreeman to fsu is actually from that same small town....

Freeman is from Liberty City...but his fam originally is from S.GEORGIA just to clarify...i actually think he live their as a youngster also.

It just doesn't seem like we ever get a recruit when it plays out like this. I'm sure some of you guys can point to several that we did get. I say we get neither Cook or Rudolph. Seems obvious to me. Hopefully we pull J.C. I do have faith that Golden fills this class with a surprise or two to ease some of the sting we will be feeling. Obviously we have some studs and a great class already. I really appreciate the class we have even if we ended now. I definitely won't care at all about losing Cook & Rudolph if they go to UF. I don't care about Lane at all wherever he goes.

At the end of the day, Florida State could land both Rudolph and Lane. Early PT is a major selling point since they might be losing 3 WR's to the draft. If Griffin qualifies, people will forget about Lane and Rudolph. (If they pick FLorida State) Griffin is Mike Evans on steroids. He will be incredible if we get can get him here.

I'm sure fsu is bereft of WRs. They haven't signed any the last few years to prepare for losing the ones they have.

we did what we could; numerous in homes, official visit, teammates committed to UM, brother at UM i mean seriously some kids just don't want to stay home. i applaud the coaching staff for a valiant effort, it is what it is.

I know this is nothing new, but lane just tweeted

@_MoneyLane: Dalvin Cook just text me & said "Main Man we playing college ball together & we gotta put up numbers" #Love

And then deleted it really quick. I would've posted a screencap but I'm on mobile. This scares me a lot.

I don't get why Lane and Cook hate Miami so much

Is it people surrounding them? I don't get it. Why not help your city?

I dont think Cook hates Miami. Lane, on the other hand, is Cook's lapdog. He seems to do whatever Cook does.... kind of pathetic.

**** them dudes. We got Yearby, and Berrios. Plus 2 monsters on the roster already in Duke, and Coley.

I haven't seen anything leading me to believe that any of Cook, Lane, and Rudolph were ever coming here. I don't see why the big deal over kids who clearly seem to want to leave SoFla.
Ee
It's probably a big deal because Cook is one of the top RBs in the country and a TD waiting to happen on every play. Think CJ Spiller. And the other 2 are two of the top WRs in the country. It'll be an especially big deal if they wind up at our main rival that has been stomping our asses for almost 10 years now. But if you don't think losing local talent like that is a big deal, then carry on whistling, champ.

So we aren't getting any of that great SoFla talent?

You guys either don't understand the importance of elite guys like Cook, or you're just ignoring it to prop up the corches you seem to worship. We're putting together a very good class, but this class won't be enough to beat teams like fsu. FSU's putting together an even better class AGAIN. And they're looking to nab more of our best players from our backyard. This class might put us over the hump where guys like you can't even convince yourselves that Duke is more talented than us.

But if you keep losing guys like Cook and Sony and Lane and Rudolph and Collins and Thomas, etc., and you're losing them to your chief rival that happens to be dominating you, then you're not likely to get to that next level. You might get to the level where you can beat up Wake instead of being in a death struggle with them, but you won't get to that next level where UM fans expect to be. That same level where Al Golden said he expected to be in his initial speech when he was hired.

We've always lost guys like them. ALWAYS! It has nothing to do with propping up current coaches. No coach at Miami has ever gotten them all, and no coach ever will. And F$U has pretty much always had a 'better' class than us (on paper). Luckily for us, they don't play games on paper. I understand completely that Cook is an elite player, but I also understand three more things that guys like you don't understand. (1) Not every elite SoFla kid wants to stay and play at Miami (and I don't blame them), (2) we have an elite SoFla RB already committed (maybe 2 of them), and (3) we have the best defensive player in SoFla committed (who we need a lot more).

This is true...very true. We've lost so many studs to FSU and still beat them.

Lane wr coach posted on here last week saying that he talks to the miami coaches often and talks about them just as much as any other college. Y'all need to quit with bashing recruits especially when they possibly will sign here. Stop doing it, you are not helping.... It has already been said to don't pay attention to lanes recruitment until January. Let it all play out. And miami has been recruiting lane heavily especially along with dalvin cook. If cook comes to miami, lane will too. Tyre Brady can also help get lane to miami as well...

Didn't Lane tweet today he's gonna miss Brady when he goes off to college. It's as obvious as can be the duo are headed to either UF or FSU

Cook and lane don't even speak to the UF staff anymore, **** neither have been to the Ville in months. As I said watch what they do not what they say

This is FSU/UM battle
