He has all the qualities of the type of player that shines in these big games. Has the athleticism and versatility, and we've used him in ways to showcase it.
I was surprised we didn't work him in (wildcat, passes out of the backfield, etc.) more last game, especially because we struggled so badly on O. And I also think we need to use him (and Homer) more catching passes out of the backfield in space. Then there's always the potential trickeration...we'll see.
Either way, he's in the upper echelon of athlete and playmaker on this team. Better unleash everything we've got on Saturday, and Deejay should be a big part of that.
Richt chose to be vanilla in that Pitt game. I am not sure why because the film is already there. We tried to beat Pitt on athleticism and talent alont
Hopefully he was working on the game plan for Clemson because he knew Pitt didn't matter and losing would get us dropped and getting dropped would fire up the team. Too much?
Too much.
He also said there were wide open WRs that Rosier missed. It's not like his play calling sucked. The guys were open. We complete 2-3 of those long throws and we win the game, probably running away with it.
Hey, spinning is my job. I tried. We still are winning this game.
