LULZ at Folden bringing someone in to coach the coaches he hired. What a dumb concept. While we're at it we should bring someone in to help Folden be the HC.

spot on. Miami, the place where talent is misused by coaches, where the spirit of stubbornness lives, where the most thought provoking and competent reporting is done by some guy with a blog. The professional journalist in Miami are like the college coaches...worthless

I guess I have a corporate mentality(consultants), or I just am thinking of the fact that Coley has no one on his staff that he could turn to..Ice, Kehoe, Brennan, Scott, Golden??? Good leaders know when to intervene, and if Golden cant himself, why not bring a 3rd party?

I follow you caneaddict, but the good leader that needs to intervene is Blake James.

Donna is leaving. The new beginning is in sight. Have to keep Golden until she is gone, so she doesn't curse with another of her losers.

We need someone who has or had experience in the NFL calling plays. I'm ready for Coley to be done as the O-Coordinator. Only way he should be retained as OC is if we can win the Coastal and I don't think there is any chance with what I have seen last year and in 2 games. The guy flat out is in over his head. It's a shame Golden couldn't see it before giving him such a big responsibility.

I understand what you are saying bro but the fact that in year four consultants are needed screams fire me from the mountain tops. Its too little too late, golden finishes with no more beat downs id be more incline to call it a fluke than to believe that they actually fogured out how to coach. I tried giving this staff a chance abd even liked some of the new moves but labor day was very sobering, at this point he should have to go 10-2 to keep his job.

Golden should have just made his *** a recruiting coach and hired a real OC, but then we wouldn't have this exciting offense to talk about.

I fear today's news bought Golden time. No way they make a move on a new coach without the President. We shall see.

So we should expect the "usual" half assed coaching effort again this week?
Mediocracy = University of Miami Coaching
Job Security = University of Miami Coaching
Al Goden = Mediocre Coach with Job Security

Took the words out of my mouth... I sat at the FAMU game and just thought, "This team does not impose their will on anyone." Then the next day "The U" comes on ESPN and I get even more ****ed.

I could tell something was off going back to Coley's first game as OC against FAU last year. I found it strange that with all the talent at receiver that we struggled in the passing game. Morris had just come of a surprisingly prolific year in 2012 yet there didn't seem to be any rhythm or flow to the offense. The route combinations didn't seem to make any sense. We would run all verticals without any complimentary routes underneath. The blocking scheme didn't match the personnel and so on.

Fast forward to today. After hoping all offseason that it was Morris's inadequacies that stunted the 2013 offense and that a change at QB to go along with our embarrassment of riches at the skill positions would lead to an efficient and explosive offense we have finally come to terms with the truth. James Coley is grossly incompetent! Given the talent he is surrounded with makes his performance or lack thereof even more perplexing. How could a FBS coordinator at a program like UM be so inept?

What compounds the matter is the fact that there is absolutely no one on this staff who is even remotely qualified to assist him. Very disturbing and an indictment of Al Golden's ability to run a program of this caliber. Sadly it is becoming painfully obvious that after you strip away all the hype, the 8 pillars, the hashtags, the buzzwords and the promotional videos, that Golden and his entire staff are all in way over their collective heads.
