Every day during portal season, Pete and I track player movement on the CanesInSight Podcast. Below is a summary of yesterday's movement and discussion:

Brown followed Alex Golesh from USF to Auburn, giving the Tigers an immediate starter who already knows the system.

I believe it’s very telling that we’re getting recaps on other teams portal news, but not Miami.

I think Mario’s got this whole thing on lockdown and does not want any news leaking until after our game

I’m not believing Schott offers anything new other than what’s already on tape. It would also be foolish of Cig & Co to think we won’t be adding new wrinkles/plays post-Schott. I would worry about snap counts though, but we could use that to our advantage to draw them offsides. ALL SPECULATION THOUGH.
 
Losing Schott sucks. Portal is a big time depth and development killer. But portal gives and taketh away so is what it is.

Might as well not recruit top 200 players from Indiana while Cig is there - he’s about to lock down the top 3-4 players coming out of his state.

100% I have waited 23 years for a shot at a championship. I’m glad Mario and team are focusing on closing this season off. Another championship run is not a given let’s keep the focus on the most important thing!!

Don’t want any distractions at this point. You can just let me know that spots are getting filled at the U and that will make me happy. Announce it after we hoist up the CFP Championship trophy on the night of 1/19. Until then, keep it under wraps!
