DAILY DEBATE: Who do you want to see at punt and kick returner?

For the ufag game gotta be X at punt return. We always drop a punt in big games. Ufag2019 tamu2022 tamu2023 etc.
only one we didn’t was Bama 2021 but it didn’t matter cause we had no chance of winning.

Kick return the fastest guy on the squad. Chris Johnson.
 
Looks like most believe Ray Ray and CJ with XR being the "safer choice" for now on punt returns.
Speed kills. I hope our speed merchants develop great hands and returns become a serious weapon for Us
 
Robby or CJ at KR
X at PR

Just cannot afford turnovers during PR plays. If Robby/CJ shows that they can be trusted not to turn the ball over at KR, next year they’ll be both be JRs and can have the opportunity to win the PR job

Robby Washington, Ray Ray Joseph, Chris Johnson, Robert Stafford, and Ajay Allen.

There is no reason one of these younger fast dudes can't step up in this role. The whole "trust" thing out of PR where coaches don't trust them to make the right decision is so ******* annoying. Not because it isn't needed, but because to me it 1000% means you aren't training them enough. There is nothing special about catching a punt return or having the awareness not to field a ball inside the 5or10 if that's the instructions you give them. But all those guys have greater returning ability than X.

Having said that I don't think having Restrepo back at PR is the end of the world, but I don't want it to happen either. If Ray Ray or Robby can't win that job what the **** are they doing?

Absolutely! Anyone who will not muff and who knows when to get out of the way.

Punters and kickers are too good anymore. Gone are the days of someone scoring multiple times in a season.

given very limited practice time these days, fair catch punts and kick offs and move. Most reliable hands to catch them
