DAILY DEBATE: Which freshman WR will have the most yards?

Smart money to go with the slot guy for obvious reasons…

But if Moore is a talented as they are saying he is I love to see us move him around and create mismatches as much as possible… you know like how teams did against us this past season.

Saw something comparing Moore to Megatron. I'm going to go with Toney.
Ya head ball coach said that

Toney
1. easier path to get reps (Ray Ray vs JoJo/Carr/Daniels)
2. offense works the slot a ton.
3. build should keep him healthy

Right now I'll say Toney but I reserve the right to revisit this after spring then again after fall camp.

I think the ceiling of this WR room is going to be a lot higher than years past. I loved them, but Brown, Horton and George aren't that difficult to replace. Not enough people are talking about the potential of this room. There is a lot of talent in this room

Respectfully disagree. No receiver on this team has done anything. Horton broke out last year as option 3. Maybe 4. George and brown had experience. X obviously that dude. Daniels is the only one but that was 2 years ago. There’s potential. But man. It’s sketchy

I think replacing Brown and George won’t be that hard but replacing X is going to be another thing….Im Hoping Toney is that guy but I think there’s decent talent in the WR room so I think we will be Ok.

Notice how I said the ceiling/potential Is higher for this room. Guys like Toney, Moore, Carr, and Jojo can easily be more productive than Horton, George and Brown. I think those guys definitely have higher upside. Loved those guys, but they’re easy to replace

I’m expecting Toney to win the slot job over Ray Ray and surprise a lot of people. He’s a true freshman so growing pains and patience are in order, but I’m going with him. Considering most of the big name slot guys are off the board(Branch, Concepcion, Rivers) I think we’re going to roll with what we have now.

Comfortable with DB upgrades, so biggest question mark heading into season is WR/TE rooms. Lot of names and hype, but absolutely no experience. Tough learning curve with ND and Gators to start season.
