Depends on the position I play, national ranking, and my goals.
For fun, I’ll pretend to be a Top 5 elite nationally ranked QB and a high school honor student. Excellent size (pause) and arm strength. Enough mobility avoid the label of “pure passer, but a statue in the pocket.” The next John Elway, more or less, with Manning/Brady smarts.
I’ve made numerous unofficials, of course.
But my 5 officials would be:
Texas
Oregon
Michigan
Stanford
And last……..Miami
Return any FSU, UF, Ohio State, and USC mail unopened. Block any phone number associated. I would consider teasing those programs, leading them on, but why be a ****? Would prefer to be mature about the process. No social media nonsense. No Top 20, Top 10 lists. No hat/press conference games.
Ideally, I would have these OVs over and done during the early Spring after my junior season.
A silent commit to Miami while watching Spring practice, made public later during the camp circuit so I can recruit elite talents around me.
Respect my decision.
