DAILY DEBATE: What four rushers do you want to see on obvious passing downs?

Man I hope those four stay healthy all year. Have fun stopping all the stunts.

Is the general consensus that Bain and Mesidor would be the two inside? Seems like people always say those two would be the ones to pop inside.

They’re the biggest ones, so I think it makes sense.

Mesidor is at least 275-280, Bain gotta be 275 now too.

Alston is probably closer to 250 and Baron is somewhere there too, maybe like 260?

So to me, you slap the bigger kids inside to push the pocket in the middle and you let your smaller kids eat on the edge.

Position versatility for Mesidor and Bain can make this pass rush unit nasty. Both guys can play inside and work against interior college linemen who often aren’t the greatest athletes. Alston can play in space a bit so you can mess around with certain blitzes from his side if you want.

Baron also, I have seen him at Nose, 5 tech and edge in one game against teams like UGA.
 
I think Baron on the Edge and Bain over the guard personally. Bain did a lot of his damage at 3 and 4i
 
I'm convinced the monitor/screen just isn't going to look right when we rush the passer on 3rd and 5+ yards this year. We have a freak show up front now. Plus, they are going to have to work each day in practice to beat people in front of them. This year is going to be different man. I've not said that in at least 10 years. ****, maybe 15.
