DAILY DEBATE: How will this affect LeBron's legacy?

Honestly? I only entertain certain threads during the off season to make the time go by. This is one of the few. Don’t mind it, but i do take umbrage in the media & fans using cumulative, longevity stats to say LBJ’s the GOAT.

There’s way too many flaws & holes on the totality of his resume, & if I went in to ether mode in breaking down complete analytics, records, stats, win%, impact on/off the floor, caliber of teammates vs. opponents, etc. which I’ve done on other platforms, it would be quite obvious why MJ is The GOAT. I don’t hate LBJ; once upon a time he was my favorite player in the NBA (until Curry got drafted), but I do hate certain narratives that surround him, & I hate that his young fans have created this #Wedonewiththe90’s movement to **** on past greats.
I have no problem with any of your posts. They're always well thought out and you can back up your position.

I was just taking a cheap jab at @Brains, mostly because he knew he was stirring the pot with this thread and I love it.

I started this thread as a joke, but this is great. I may even opine at the end of it.
Make that a purgatory assignment. To get out, you need to write a 500 word essay about why Lebron is/isn't the GOAT that passes Turnitin with a green light.

Anyone who speaks of the 90s in a negative light, or uses the 90s as an insult should be viewed with suspicion at BEST.

More than likely they should be deported or jailed.

LeBron is one of the greatest players to play the sport.

LeBron is also one of the world's greatest punk *******.

I’ll be 46 in October, I’ve seen MJ play in person and on live tv during his prime. I remember coming home from Randall Park Mall and watching Jordan slash across the middle of the screen and hit that jumper over Craig Ehlo, I actually cried as a kid. Up until Lebron’s championship in Cleveland, Jordan was the GOAT in my opinion and it wasn’t even debatable. When I think of MJ’s Finals wins and witnessing him beat teams that were almost unbeatable during those respective playoff series. Those games were brutal and uber competitive. The Bulls were the only team on the planet that could have stopped Barkley and the Suns, Drexler and the Trailblazers 🔥🔥, Malone and Stockton, no one was gonna stop Payton and Shawn Kemp, and even the aging but still great Lakers. Michael Jordan stopped some of the greatest players ever from winning a ring.

If we were able to switch out Lebron for MJ on those Bulls teams, I don’t know that they’d beat all of those teams, they most likely wouldn’t.

With that said, and in effort to be agreeable, reachable and accepting of the great arguments of my brothers E1k and Rellyrell, I concede and agree that MJ is the GOAT. But Lebron is The Best Basketball Player of All-Time. He is not the Greatest, MJ is the 🐐

Yeah but he’s from Cleveland…

💣

🙄😂
He is from Akron, but we accept him, even though he corrects people whenever they say he is from Cleveland. Clevelanders crack on Akron like yall crack on Cleveland, and Lebron is aware of this. Thats like a dude from Fort Lauderdale saying he is from Miami. Both about 40 minutes away from each other. But yes that does play a big role in my opinion because I literally told everyone I know and my entire barbershop that if he does come back (while he was with the Heat, rumors were swirling in Cleveland of a small chance of his return, especially my barbershop which was Rich Paul’s as well—most likely the leak in some form or fashion) and win a championship, he will be the greatest ever in my opinion. Well he returned and we won one. One of the greatest months in Cleveland history, the city went crazy.

What’s crazy is that he left us for y’all, won Miami two rings and most of yall (it seems) hate his soul.

I’m only joking around with you. This place hates everyone. LeBron’s accomplishments are undeniable.
