It’s not about getting Riley or not getting him. It’s setting a standard of excellence and not being satisfied or indecisive when expectations fall short.
Thought you were out?

Bruh I just said the same ****. Won the ACC and upgraded. Miami didn’t make the bowl and they are standing in **** still. Not that I actually thought he’d come here but that really just depressed me, lol. Seeing Clemson do that after winning the ACC and going out to get arguably the best OC in CFB is something we dream about while we sit here 6 weeks after the season ended with literally the worst OC in CFB. I can’t lol.
I talk to Garrett all the time mario has never called his phone to my knowledge lolbut I thought Mario has been talking to Riley this whole time?
Lol rest assured the Riley apple don’t fall too far from the treeI think Riley will be good but I always worry about hiring an OC who is short on play calling experience and has only ever been an OC under an genius offensive head coach.
ngl, this was my first thought. Once they put the kid in that offense actually looked pretty good. Wouldn’t fit TVDs strengths very well but Jacurri would probably do well eventually.Just hire the guy that got fired ! He still an upgrade !
Disappointing.I talk to Garrett all the time mario has never called his phone to my knowledge lol
If Mario needs to see another coach doing the right thing to do his job better, then we are more doomed than I think we arewe joke a lot but this honestly might have been the kick in the *** to make a change that we needed.
hopefully alonzo or rad step in and talk some sense into mario after seeing this splash by a conference opponent
Yeah like Ken Dorsey. Or Zac Taylor. Or Mike Mike McDaniel. Nick Sirianni. Terrible, the lot of themI think Riley will be good but I always worry about hiring an OC who is short on play calling experience and has only ever been an OC under a genius offensive head coach.
happens all the time in footballIf Mario needs to seeanother coach doing the right thing to do his job better, then we are more doomed than I think we are
This is just how Mario likes to operate. We’re going to have to live with this for the rest of his tenure.
Sounds good but Mario isn’t changing anything no matter what his competition does. He has the smartest guy in the room syndromehappens all the time in football
nfl teams draft players, sign players, and hire staff according to scheme disadvantages and advantages within their divisions
college teams do the same.
I agree to your point but splashes like this change the thinking and decisions of several teams I would imagine
