They did the next best thing for them. They immediately dispatched the army of saban/sec apologists to created excuses for them.

Im not blaming him. It was obviously our team playing like **** and being out matched. Doesnt mean I have to like him though. I just dont get the suckfest that people have for him.

We all know the B1g and SEC are harder paths.

It is pretty obvious that Clemson has an easier path than any Pac or Big 12 team.

Recruiting and bc ratio means nothing when you cant coach them up and win. I assume Canes fans would know this better than anyone.

The second tier of the ACC (Miami, FSU, Cuse, Vt)

Is just as good as the second tier SEC teams and big 10 teams.

Better than the second tier of big 8 teams.

Just as good as the top tier pac 12 teams.

Clemson has the easiest path for the same reason Bama does, they just have more talent than everyone else and they have great coaching.

But the ACC is just as strong as any other league.
 
I live in SC, so I hear more than most...he puts up a good front, but he is just as sleazy as most other coaches. He talks about players should be paid and how its' not fair, but then he becomes one of the highest paid coaches out there. He was speeding to do his radio show, got pulled, said to the cop "Don't you know who I am? and after it went viral ended up getting the cop fired. There are more stories but that one shows his true character.

Yes, but recruiting with bad coaches beats bad recruiting with bad coaches. Besides recruiting is more than half the battle. LOL ACC is easily the worst in the nation. The second tier ACC teams are not as good as the second tier Pac(Oregon, Stanford, Wazzou, Utah, etc.)

There are about 12-13 teams that are recruiting at a high level right now in regards to 50% BCR. 5 or 6 teams are recruiting at an elite level.

That is not what I am saying at all. If you had actually read the comments you would realize that.

Taggart clearly is a good recruiter to be able to pull a class with a ratio like that after the last few seasons. Manny can't even do it and our team beat FSU the last 2 years.

However, he is still not recruiting at a high level because the team sucks, among other things.

To put it in terms even you could understand.

Taggart is a good recruiter, but all the negatives on the program(mainly caused by him) are hurting his classes so they are not elite. Plus Jimbo is still a much better recruiter.
