If u called Jarren since day one. Respect. I’m rooting for Baby Watson too. If you’ve been too p*ssy to give your opinion for 6 months, get out my mentions.

I just got off work and now omw to Richmond. I’ll be back on to congratulate the dudes that called it when I get home.

This is why you need to take a permanent break from this website. It is not, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be...about PREDICTIONS. It's not about "calling someone since day one". Literally, anyone on the board could have had a 33% chance to "call it since day one" without any knowledge whatsoever.

This is your problem. You merged your log-in name presence with your Twitter presence and thought you could invent a character that would be hailed as some kind of football visionary. You made this about YOU personally. Even within hours of Jarren being named the starter, you were posting steaming hot-****e takes about Tate being the only possible choice. For "business" reasons, not football reasons. You scorched the earth, ducked the repercussions, and then meekly acted as if all you were doing was humbly providing your "opinion".

This is how misguided you are. You attach some sort of importance and masculinity to picking a favorite player early, and then blindly and stubbornly defending him even in the face of contrary evidence. I am not saying that Jarren won the race by a wide margin, but there was PLENTY of evidence that Tate was not separating himself from the pack either. And as Tate was not performing up to his lofty potential, you just kept acting as if he were the bigger and bigger frontrunner.

Look, many people on this board have contributed to the play-by-play horse-race mentality of this QB competition. But you have been, by far, the worst offender. Even as people honestly professed to having no favorites, when we simply hoped the best QB would win, you personally insulted us over and over, claiming that there was no way we did not have a rooting interest.

Just go away. You are the epitome of what is wrong with college sports fans whose egos drive them to try to make themselves a part of the process, a part of the game.

I am an alum of UM. This University is a part of my life. I go to the games and I live and die (emotionally) with this team. And it is sad and pathetic to see a wannabe such as yourself turning the hard work of 85 players and dozens of coaches and support staff into some sort of egotistical social media campaign.

Your responses on this thread are evidence that you don't get it, and will never get it, regardless of RVA's optimism that you are capable of learning and personal development.

If you ever grow up, come back in 5 or 10 years with a new log-in name.

I don’t disagree with this except I do have hope that he’s capable of learning and personal development and I’m not ready to say he will never learn. I don’t know. But at this time he has not shown that he is ready to or really wants to grow so I’m not investing in it. You’re right. He may be 5 or 10 years away from that REAL desire to do better.

Wipe the cüm off his face, log on CIS, and take our abuse like he takes man meat down his throat
He handled this the worst way he could have. He wasn’t around for the “broke” era and pounding that guy took for being a Golden Slurper and not giving in and taking his lumps fair or not. The abuse over time was way worse than falling on the sword. That was nothing compared to this.

Wow, people REALLY hate D Rev. I didn't think he was that bad.

THIS.
I was *** deep in the broke era. Couldn't stand the kid at the Fraulden slurping. He was mercilessly pounded and rightfully so...and now? He's been a student of the game and the scene and grown considerably. Took his lumps and literally fought his way out of it. Yeah, @brock you're the perfect example of a well done redemption arc.
Broke never peacocked like this tho, even in the worst of his moments.

I respect you for coming in here, but I can still sense the hesitation in your post to crown Jarren. Take your "L" and move on to another post . 5'9 Martell is built to run a shotgun spread option type offense. Diaz hired Enos and he told you the offense was gonna be multiple. It was a horrible decision for Tate to come here. Im pretty sure he picked Miami because we were the most popular P5 school that wanted him and he could stay in the lime light, where he should have picked a school that fit his style. I'm pretty sure Perrys gonna be 2nd QB. ENos offense does not fit Tate, Ohio States style was perfect for him and even they didnt think much of him. The fact that Manny told you 2nd string QB is still under review should tell everybody that JArren ran away with this thing..I believe it wasnt close and it was just portrayed to be close to save face for the other guys. Duke is my probably one of my favorite canes of all time so you are still cool with me. I Still dont think we win 10 games this year and Jarren is gonna have his struggles as a 1st year starter mainly because we have a turnstyle @ RT and a True Freshman @ LT who was 240 pounds a few months ago who is a True Freshman . But I think next year will be the year for him and the experience of seeig differenet defenses and coverages will do wonders for his future

But im sure @DRevLee and others will be on here to criticize as soon as Jarren misses his first wide open guy or throws a few ints
Who do you think we lose to?

Bet u can’t get to 20. 9 more to go.

Ngl I felt bad about all the BS after a while because you have this innate reflex to make everything about yourself. Why is your ego so large, why do you think you're always right, and why are you incapable of discussion without pointing fingers and condescension?

You'd fall somewhere in the DSM-5, I'm sure the psychologists on the board can diagnose you accurately.

Stop trying to get any drop of clout you can manage, you'll never amount to this Hurricanes twitter stardom you so desperately want. Hey maybe come down to a game one day and let's share a beer because I'm actually concerned about you man.
