After a lot of hype early on, we haven't seen or heard much of Gaynor, Herbert or Hillery. How close is this group to contributing? Or do we have to cross our fingers that Campbell, Reed or one of the incoming Freshmen can fill the holes (pun intended) left by the departure of St Louis and Gauthier? Do you expect another GT to join Boulware over the offseason?

OL is poised to be neutral or worse if we don't find any quality Juco or transfers imo.

Scaife LT - Obviously a ton of upside but he's still got a ways to go.
Boulware LG- Was a very good addition. Could end up a 2nd or 3rd all ACC OG
Gaynor C- I believe they redshirted him, hopefully he's progressed physically. Like his upside.
Mahoney RG- Will he hold Reed off for long?
Campbell RT-

Brown/Hillary/Herbert- Battle for the 1st OT off the bench. Awful depth. Brown coming off season ending MCL injury and Herbert has been a ghost since injuring his shoulder almost 2 years ago.

Reed/Dykstra- Most people expect Dykstra to never play here. I had high expectations for Reed but the fact they redshirted him when he clearly is going be heavy in the rotation this year has me worried.

Eukagan/Tarquin- I like both these prospects but they don't strike me as guys we should lean on for freshmen production. They both need a year in the weight room.

If we can land Neal and 1 QUALITY G on the waiver wire of Juco/Grad than i like our OL a lot more. As of now we're on extremely thin ice. Preferably we find 2 guys on the wire.

Do yall watch games, donaldson had mentally checked out at guard when scaife took over at right tackle, but the last 2 games he was back to his old self and in fact, the move to tackle for that stint has actualky made him a better guard because he got in better shape to play tackle, now when he's pulling from the guard spt he's alot quicker.

As far as scaife, dont be surprised if you see scaife and donaldson moved to the left side of the o-line, gaynor is redshirting but he was playing last game as well, and he will play in the bowl game as well, that 4 game rule is working to perfection, and gaynor is a tone setter and one of the leaders of the o-line, we will be a physical run blocking bunch next year, and dont sleep on campbell.

2019 OL = a bunch of question marks that won’t be answered until the first game. Could be better could worse.

I stop reading at Mahoney

lol i forgot donaldson somehow

I knew you did, lol, but the o-line barring health is bout to do work next year, quiet as kept, they have been doing decent against our d-line in practice, this is why their is no panicking to get alot of o-line recruits in this year although we do need them. The thing i like is, the mindset of the young o-linemen, believe me, they not the ones crying and coach searels got guys that have his mindset now now. Pass blocking is going to be dogfights, run blocking is what makes that next wave of o-linemen smile, reed is in that feliciano mode where when he gets his hands on you, good luck.

Our offense will be more physical next year, the widereceivers blocking, coach dugans and coach searels do a great job of teaching techniques where we barely if at all get holding calls while blocking, coach hartley dies a great job of that for our tightends and special teams as well. This team is on the come up, this next class is the take over class, they coming in cause they want to be here, choc full of leaders too.

Me personally i wanted jahnar brown over solomon to myself, and since he's waffling, come on down brown
