Exactly. You’re gonna tell me there isn’t a G5 or even FCS school that would offer him a scholarship?A lot of assumptions in here that don’t jive with what’s going on

Everything you saidWhich is?
No one believes this but John Square was legit 6'6" 200 lbs (I saw him in person multiple times) and he somehow was an effective pass rushing specialist on some of the greatest college football teams of all time. He's an anomaly of course and defenses are much different today. I don't know if the could make an impact today but it really was weird seeing a guy that skinny out there making plays. He had a lot of sacks where he just straight ran around OTs.I saw him on campus quite a bit and he just didn't put on much weight.
He had a very long, lanky frame. Think NBA small forward. In hindsight, it was likely wishful thinking that a guy with that frame would ever be a 240+ pound guy.
I always wonder when guys like this transfer. Like, were they pushed out or did they voluntarily leave? Because a guy like Cyrus may have benefited from another year in the weight room and then you hope that Guidry can find a role for him as a situational rusher. Because voluntarily leaving into the black hole of the transfer portal looks like a weird career move.
I know what i said, u said it doesnt conform with whats going on. That's the question.Everything you said
No that’s the answerI know what i said, u said it doesnt conform with whats going on. That's the question.
Schools were under the assumption that Cyrus Moss was no longer in the portal. Upon closer examination, he was just standing sideways.
Square had 5 sacks as a freshman in the 2001 team. If he weighed 215 lbs, it was because he was wearing 15 pound shoesNo one believes this but John Square was legit 6'6" 200 lbs (I saw him in person multiple times) and he somehow was an effective pass rushing specialist on some of the greatest college football teams of all time. That's what I'm thinking must be something more behind the scenes this guy is talented enough to find a key role on many G5 schoolsExactly. You’re gonna tell me there isn’t a G5 or even FCS school that would offer him a scholarship?
