This is the equivalent of a high school media club broadcasting the game. Considering the entire broadcast team thought football was soccer coming into the game they actually did better than I would have expected.

They also randomly went to a commercial in the beginning of CMU 2nd drive.
 
I get it. We deserve better.

I am also old enough to remember when we just couldn’t see games like this at all. In the eighties and nineties, there were just some games that never got more than highlights on the news taken from field level handhelds.

I will take this over that any day.
 
CW's guys are probably people who didn't make the cut on ESPN and Fox when the Big Boys were looking for prospects from the Local Sports Affiliates.

You get what you pay for.
 
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it was Thom Brennaman in the booth.

Immediately looked up Nick Castellanos to make sure he didn’t hit a homer yesterday or today to bury one of our players

The broadcast was terrible. The black/rainbow time screen showed up for like 20 seconds and you could here the commentators talking. Awful
 
when it's announced a game will be on the CW, it's automatically understood that a shoddy broadcast will happen. For Christ sake, the dude called a sponsor the WRONG name last night.

Yeah, agreed. Guess is they operate on a tight budget & lack the bells & whistles. Not good.
 
Whoever the old fart was for an announcer last night sounded like he had one too many cognacs before the broadcast. He called Wheatley-Humphrey “Wetty” and then corrected him self the next time around. Oh and cant forget about him calling Vance Spafford, “Stafford”.
