Cuse vs Clemson

There's no argument that Clemson's a much better team than 'Cuse, but there's something to the fact that, in their last prior two games - and even early in today's game, Syracuse has give them a fight. I don't know if it's a scheme or matchup thing, but it's weird.

I think you are misunderstanding what I was saying; I did not say that Clemson was as good or as close to as good as that Miami team. I was pointing out that even very good teams have off/flat days.

Syracuse has been a dumpster fire this year. Clemson has been absolutely destroying teams this year. Last week theyy beat Georgia Tech 73-7, and probably could have gotten to 88 if they hadn't eased up in the 4th quarter.

The Orangemen are worse than the Yellow Jackets. It's like trying to get hyped up for Savannah State. Most of Clemson's games are huge talent imbalances, and it's not an oddity to play such an inferior opponent. What do the players say to each other to hype themselves up...."this game we'll get to 100 or 150 points"? There's an upper limit on how much you can score as dictated by the available time in the game, so it's natural for them to not take Syracuse with any real seriousness.

Clemson knows that Miami has the talent to potentially beat them, and they took us with seriousness. Beating Miami meant something to them. Beating Notre Dame and maybe Florida State (by virtue of FSU's talent level) would mean something. Beating Syracuse is rote to them.

It’s a scheme thing. They out schemed our coaches and out talented our players during our game. They stacked the box to shut down our run game and forced our weak @ss WRs to beat their corners and our QB to make great throws and neither happened. They won’t out scheme every team they play all year but they’ll win them all because they will out talent every team they face.

No I'm the guy who called bull**** when you said you've seen racist white guys get their teeth knocked out multiple times while you were in Iowa.

Yea that was you and yea its true cause I'm the one who did it twice and both guys were lineman out of 55 buddy. Same thing will happen to you to if you run your mouth in real life.

Yeah some people think that if UVA or whoever “only" loses by 23 and we lose by 25 to Clemson, that means that other team is better. They don't quite understand that Clemson might care once or twice a year in the acc, the rest of the time they just are so much more talented they can win with 50% effort. If they wanted to, Lawrence could probably throw for 6-7 TDs per game all season. The two acc games that Clemson would get up for are the teams that have a legacy like Miami and Notre Dame. On some level I think Dabo sort of respects Diaz and wanted to make a point but not totally embarrass him since the acc coaches chat with each other at acc meetings and what not. I don't think Dabo will give two ****s about hurting Brian Kelly's feelings and they will lay an unholy beating on ND. ND should have priests standing by on the sidelines to administer the Last Rites.

I hear you but think you'd possibly get up for a team that beat you and played you close the last two times you've played them.
 
All these responses and no one wants to talk about our serious coaching problems. Clemson doubled our best offensive player most of the game. We let Clemson’s most explosive and second best player Etienne run wild the whole game. With an extra week to prepare did it even look like we game planned to stop him? Manny said after the game...that guy is really good 😂

They have more talent fine...but the fact they have competent coaches on top of the talent is what causes an embarrassing blowout.

Can anyone here with all these responses say we looked well prepared, and had a solid gameplan on offense or defense for the Clemson game.
