Clemson took their foot off the gas in the 3rd quarter against us. They were shutting us down with their 3rd stringers and could’ve beat us by 45 if they wanted to.
 
Krazy dont mind all the Clemson ****suckn in this thread and on this site You're right, they aren't unbeatable. We had a sht gameplan and never took advantage of the weak spots they DO have. Playing slow *** lbs and wrs based on seniority....I can type all day.

Remember when the 2001 Miami - the one in the conversation for best college team ever - barely beat a ****** Boston College team and then beat the #14 and #12 teams in the country by a combined 124-7 over the following 2 weeks? Games like these happen to good teams.

Right - I am sure the Clemson players were sick of all the hype that Miami was getting prior to the game and I am sure that Dabo views us as one of the handful of teams in the ACC that could be a problem if we get it going so there was extra motivation on the coaches part too.

this post is ridiculous. This team is not even close to being as good as our 2001 team.
 
Difficult to keep a team motivated every game, especially when you’re a 46-point favorite and won your last game by 66 points. Canes almost lost at VaTech in 2001, after consecutive 55+ point beatdowns of ranked Syracuse and Washington. And then there’s the BC game.

And Rutgers in 2002.
 
If we were unranked with a losing record playing Clemson at noon I have no doubt the game would have been “more competitive” but just like this game it would have never really been in doubt.

some of y’all forget teams like BC and LA Tech hanging close against our early 2000 Canes. There’s a huge energy difference in playing prime time games vs nobody’s

I didnt say we sucked. I said our gameplan was sht. I said we play seniority over talent. And most of our coaching staff is green as **** and wet behind the ears.

He's not saying that. He's speaking about Clemson's energy level against us vs. Clemson's energy level vs. Cuze. It isn't even close. Clemson is absolutely sleep walking through this game. They didn't do that to us until 4th quarter.
 
Looks like some people were getting all giddy too soon.

Speaking of that '01 team, what about our Temple first half. Slept through it and turned it on in third.
