Cuse giving us the business! 😂

How do they not understand that they were 3 dropped passes from being completely embarrassed? The most noteworthy thing in the history of Syracuse football is being the front end of the of the most lopsided defeats of back to back AP top 25 teams in NCAA history.

2001:
#2 Miami vs. #15 Syracuse - 59-0
#2 Miami vs. #11 Washington - 65-7

Combined margin of victory = 124-7
Two of the most fun nights in the WEZ ever.

I remember being in the O-Bowl at night. Maybe it ended at night? Doesn't matter. It was college. I was blacked out either way, probably.

Might be right. could have been a 3:30 game. Most of the game was played in the day, though.

Washington was definitely at night. ALL the freaks came out for that one. Their fans were streaming out mid-third. We beat them so bad, their female AD said UW would never play Miami again lol.

I missed the 1st quarter of that Washington game because of work. Walked in the door just as Portis scored to open the 2nd, so at least I got to see when the beating commenced.

Yes, definitely a night game, and it was glorious. Washington fans looked shell shocked by the third quarter.

It was a 3:30PM game in mid-November. So it was dark basically during the 2nd half. Some incredible runs by Frank Gore here:
