I'm hooked on that hope-ium. We are getting #6 before I die. Calling it now- the Miami Robot Hurricanes win the National Robot College Football Championship in 2050. We're so close with the technology in other sports.

It’s sort of funny how people expect Mario to turn the ship around in 1 year. Everyone who’s posted are using flawed comps. It’s a comp but not a great comp. Every situation is different and if you expected Miami to be great last year you have homer glasses on. Lincoln had Caleb! Who wasn’t injured, knew the offense compared to TVD who was injured and played for the most anemic OC around. Not to mention had his top target with him. Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Caleb a 5 star too! Mario messed that one up with Gattis, but he course corrected and we have to move on. There’s also a lot more to the story and issues inside the program. I can tell you this - USC does not have near the issues we have had nor are winning more than 7 games will Miller Moss.

So what we lost to MTS. Teams get beat all time by lesser and inferior opponents - even top coaches. Stuff happens. People need to get over last year. It was a bad year on a lot of fronts. The last few years have been horrible. What do you expect all of a sudden we miraculously become relevant and winning. We automatically have great players at all positions! This is not - we’ve recruited and developed well and all of a sudden we need the messiah to lead us to the promise land. Poor coaching, poor infrastructure, poor development, poor overall execution and yet somehow that gets turned around in 1 year.

Give Mario a chance. To say he’s not Top 50 is laughable. You have zero idea of what a good coach is. Considering the A standard in coaching Saban thinks extremely highly of Mario. All you arm chair analysts who know how to coach, identify talent, etc really know what’s needed. It’s actually pretty funny to read.
