When a starting QB is struggling and throwing int's, how come you rarely see a coach try QB 2? The 1986 team in the Fiesta Bowl, Vinny sucked with 5 int's and the last game of the season Geoff Torreta (Gino's brother) was on fire, Geoff threw for more yards then any game Vinny started that season. I was screaming at my TV for JJ to sub in Geoff. Also, when a team cannot stop the running game, why insist on throwing so often as Saturday's game? Again I was screaming at my TV...and found out it doesn't help. God Bless Chaney but why just him and Parish? (I may be wrong about how many RB's used but ESPN never posted the box score so hard to check how many played. I think Johnson had a carry or two? I wonder why no box score was published?

Well, TVD led is back to win so it was obviously the right call to leave him in. I don't remember Berlin getting pulled very often...

Fraggle.. just when I thought your threads were getting better you drop this **** on us.

Testaverde was a consensus All American, Walter Camp award winner, Davey O'Brien award winner, Maxwell award winner, Heisman winner and the first overall pick 4 months later. Even back then, can you imagine the media **** storm a coach would face for benching the guy?

I know there's rumors about why he threw those picks, but there's no way you had that information and there's no way in **** you were calling for him to be benched (unless you were drunk).

But to answer your 2 QB question, as the saying goes, if you've got 2 QBs you have none.
