What type of recruits did Coach Kool get at Missouri? Sheldon Richardson is obviously a comp to Nesta and Rousseau and Aldon Smith are pretty similar in profile out of HS but am curious about the others.

I think most would agree if we could match the production of his Missouri lines we can match up against the Clemson’s of the world.

I wouldn't agree with that. Kul's D-lines were strong for a second rate program like Missouri. Not national championship caliber.

I disagree. The NFL disagrees as well. Kool simply can't recruit at a national championship caliber program, but he can shape can shape rough stones.

He got multiple 4 star and multiple 5 stars at Missouri of all places, end that claim...

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. What out of state 4 star did Kool pull at Mizz?

Watch what he gets on the dline in 2019, it will be a stacked class period

Lol it only took a couple of teenagers to not sign with UM for people to start questioning Kool's resume LOL. So many cucks on this forum it's hilarious.

At ease. You have no reason to believe that BS. Pure Wishful thinking.

When he arrived DL was our deepest position. Two straight years of terrible recruiting and we’re going to be relying on true freshmen in our 2 deep at both DT and DE. He’s done a HORRIBLE job of recruiting/managing the roster.

Not sure how anyone can argue with this.

He's at Miami now, so there isn't much of a reason to review history.

His record at Miami is the important one.

And it's his position group that is the cluster **** right now.

The numbers are poor at both DT and DE.

He seems to be a minimalist when it comes to recruiting effort.

Not a fine attribute to have if you expect to win championships.

How many Nfl(ers) did he churn out at Mizzou? I believe he recruited and developed some pretty good NFL talent there. If that talent is good enough for the NFL, then it's good enough to be considered championship level at that position.

Can't speak about the rest of the defense though. But that wasn't his concern either.

IIRC, Kul was rarely "lead recruiter" for most of the kids at Mizzou. He's never been heavily involved in recruiting - his game is taking the kids that are there and maxing out their abilities. Bottom line is he's a greybeard technician (which I'm fine with) who needs help relating to and landing kids.

“Kuligowski's track record certainly helped reel in talent, but he wasn't the only one stocking Mizzou's cupboards with quarterbacks' worst nightmares. For example, Cornell Ford was Mizzou's lead recruiter for St. Louis products Sheldon Richardson, Markus Golden and Terry Beckner Jr. Andy Hill ran the point on the signing of Kansas Citian Shane Ray.”

Cornell Ford is the RBs coach and Andy Hill coaches QBs.

No he didn't.

The entire time he was there he got 1 5-star (Richardson), and 2 4-Stars (DT, Maples '07, DE, Ealy '10)

Kul probably evaluated them and the other guys had the "day to day" contact with those players.

I doubt any DL was offered without his consent.

When he arrived every single Miami fan was panicking about our DL.
