Culture; I saw The Bears for many years be happy to rest on its laurels, claim 85 and the other pre SB era championship. Lazy hire after lazy hire and that bled in to the locker room. Then Lady McCaskey became too old, and her son-in-law began to run things. He started hiring established GMs, then up & coming GMs from winning organizations. The Culture began to slowly change. Never would The Bears spend big $ for a top FA, and they went all in for Mack, including the biggest Def Contract in NFL history; $90m guaranteed! Unheard of!

The locker room and culture instantly changed.

Point is, it starts from the top man! There’s some real divas out there, but franchises have shown w the right leadership, a culture can instantly change.

You do know there are a lot of Canes + Dolphins fans here who could very easily go full "Four Yorkshiremen" with this.

The Bears being cheap were from the Papa Bear days “George Halas tosses nickels around like manhole covers”.

The defense that was there during the 2000's got paid, Johnny Knox going down with a gruesome injury and they paid him his full contract. But point taken nonetheless.

Exactly, and his daughter learned from him. Son in law is totally different now that he has full control.

Now we just need some cheerleaders, something she stopped as a feminists. Lol

You ain't never lied, but the son seems to be moving us forward. I know we just revamped our facilities and they are crazy state of the art. But the matriarch went against dads back and got rid of the cheerleaders. Think we've been cursed since, I mean we did move up to draft a one year guy over a national championship QB in Watson, and a QB that was hitting the side of a fly's wing in motion in Mahomes.

Cane fans want to ***** about being on the wrong side of evaluations all the time. Canes ain't got nothing on the Bears.
