Culture and winning plays

I rewatched the 4th quarter today when I got home for work and that last drive is just a blocking clinic. love this team. been waiting about 18yrs to see a team work and care about WINNING and here we are. Started last year, just didn't have the horses.

Coming into the game, Taint had given up 27 runs of 10+ yards in 12 FBS games. A little over 2 per game.

Miami had 6 such runs, and 2 of those were on the last drive of the game, when the whole world knew we were running the ball, and we knocked the **** out of them and bullied the whole team down the field.

If I hear one more clown joke on this site about TuFf and FizzICaL, I’m gonna crop dust them in public.

They gave up 2 per game all year. We got 2 in 5 plays on a do or die series for their season.

Suck it.

the game will always be about being tough and physical. everything else is a cherry on top. I still don't "like" our run game, it should be better. way too much shotgun with the back standing next to the QB. I feel like with this oline, backs and QB we should be way more diverse in the run game with great playaction. this team is built like an NFL offense.

Below are plays from the last drive of the game. The drive that sealed the win. Most people would say 10 had a “ bad or quiet game “. My question is do we win without these plays or did you even know it happened? Culture isn’t just a cliche saying , it’s real. Guys like this and Fletcher is why we’’re here.

The first two photos are from the short wheel route to Marty. He chips the de then rubs his guy causing just enough traffic for Brown to beat the Lb to the flat.

The third was is from the tunnel screen to Daniels ,like the first play it was a huge third down that pretty much ended the game.

The last one is from the first play of the drive where Fletcher ripped off a long gainer . 10 with a nice seal and 87 (not pictured )a great kick out .

That final pass to Daniels reminded me of his second TD vs FSU. Thought he was going to spring it again.

Lance referenced the C Gap Insert blocks that the WRs do when they come in motion (Daniels and Mali mainly), and they're not afraid to **** up a DB.

And Dawson gave the same look for the easy first down with Jojo. Beck even sold the hand off, pulled, hit Jojo in the flat.

Funny how the ones that were criticizing the tUfF and PhYsiCaL are now screaming FOR it.

Comers played off quite a bit. Loved how Dawson and Beck exploited that and got some cheap completions.
Felt they were playing that way because they didn’t think Canes could convert once they got into the red zone, force FGs and first to 20 wins. The coaches saw it the same way we all did.

I was shocked at his gameplan lol. After what he saw the week before I was sure he’d be a tad more aggressive but he kept playing with both safeties deep especially early on. And we kept run the ball in the light box. He totally overthought this

He probably saw tape of lesser talented NTs ruining our run game against Carpenter, and expected that they'd be able to stop us in base front with Mcdonald in the middle.

Teams know if they let fhe deep passing game get going, it is over. Daniels and Marion are capable downfield.

Honestly I think they hoped they could take awy chunk plays and we would shoot ourselves in thw foot like we did our losses.

Really it's good strategy because if 10, 7, and 0 get going with the way Fletcher is running, noone can stay on the field with us.

Oh I’m just saying. I expected cover 2,4,6, and 8 most of the game because that’s what he does maybe some bracketing of 10 . I just thought he’d had a S down close to the box some of would blitz since we don’t have intimidating speed at wr. I’m an Eagles fan so I know exactly what he is …….overrated . He was a bum in Philly
