Crowd at Today's Game

Think harder.

Richt is covering his bases. He’s not sure if Perry is ready, so he gives Rosier 12 pass attempts to try and get his confidence back and not completely destroy it.

It’s about winning games and managing his shltty QB situation. The situation we are in is on him, but it is what it is, and he still has to manage it. Blindly throwing in Perry before he is ready, could also ruin his confidence, and then you have nobody. That should be fairly obvious.

Agree or not, he’s trying to have it both ways with the quarterbacks, call it an insurance policy. He needs both of them engaged and somewhat confident.

Fair enough, we agree about more than we disagree.

I just don’t see how playing against SSU did anything for Rosier. Those reps would have been better used on all three of the freshmen. It bothers me as well that we burned one of four redshirt games for Williams so he could throw it, what, three times?

End of the day, it’s not ideal, no matter how you slice it. Change is needed, one way or another.

I was suprised Perry played as much as he did Saturday and with the 1's, I saw this as a positive. Thats just my opinion though

I noticed as well how long we kept the starters in the game.

My problem was that Rosier, IMO, should literally not play a single snap. I was accepting that he would play a series or two (just because “that’s how it’s done”, which is complete horse-spit), but it was ridiculous how much time they gave him. The other two guys should have gotten more time when the game was still interesting. We missed a tremendous opportunity to learn about our team and get some experience and film on our young QB’s.

My take is that Richt gave the 1's some extra reps to help them get in sync - especially the OL. Using Rosier in those reps keeps the cadence and reads similar to what the OL is more accustomed to. Especially since the center is calling the protections now.

Did anyone notice if TG was making the calls and how that worked?

I too was surprised the other QB's didn't get more reps - especially Weldon and Williams.

The defense dominated as it should have.

I still feel that Richt was not going to throw one of the young QB's into the fire at LSU for obvious reasons - deer in the headlights with the risk of permanently damaging confidence. Risk vs reward.

The student entrance is a disaster, BTW. Outrageous the line they have to wait in. Glad I recognized what was going on and we bailed and walked over to the next gate.

OT: maybe this is just me getting old, but **** if it doesn’t seem like college girls wear way less clothes than they did back in my day. ****.

I noticed that for most of the day, trending in the right direction. Saw a lot of happy ****ies jumping for joy.

Unlike you to take this so far, this is will work itself out over time, #patience.

Weldon and Williams should’ve gotten Rosier’s snaps. We saw enough of Perry to know he’s better than Rosier. **** all three were better.

Cade gets 2 series, we score on both, he comes out of game.

Appreciate you man. I'll chill. I'm not changing my opinion until I start seeing evidence that my perception is incorrect, but I'll try to stop being such a miserable cvnt about it.

Can we get like a side board going somewhere, though, where those of us who don't foresee a positive outcome unless major changes are made can get together and vent? We need like a support group or something, so we can get it all out in a safe space without making our friends, families, coworkers and fellow board members as miserable as we are.

@g8rh8rMD @OriginalCanesCanesCanes Wanted to take a minute to commend both of you gentlemen for having such an intelligent, insightful, CIVIL discussion. We need more of this on CIS.

Appreciate it man. We're all family here, well most of us, got plenty of trolls as well. At the end of the day, that blood is orange and green. We all want the same thing, sometimes just see things in different ways. Me, I'm just tired of being hurt by this abusive relationship...

I was more charitable than I had planned, Dwins... I gave Rosier two series before starting to boo him. The game experience was fun, but I just can’t talk myself into believing in these coaches at this point given the excuse making. Scratching my head about a lot of things right now.

That said, this fan base is supporting their team, that stadium is amazing, and the game day experience is very, very good.

On the other hand, it was reprehensible how the QB snaps were shared last night.
they booed him and rightfully so

That's an interesting idea. I have no qualms with Rosier, it's the choice being mad by the coaches I always object to bashing of the kid, some players try hard, are good citizens, but are only so good, not the kid's fault.

You’re right, and I hate where we’re at, but the coaches putting players out there who don’t perform at the detriment of young guys with much higher ceilings has to be challenged by the fans, somehow.

I’m not gonna boo a kid who’s doing his best and is getting better each game. Rumph as a player is the perfect example. He had to play as a true freshman due to lack of depth. And he was terrible. But he kept at it and got better each day and we all know how the story went.

On the other hand, when a guy who is a 5th year, who didn’t study film until his third year, comes out and says his wr is too fast to throw the ball to and then says that the fans don’t matter, well.... well I said I’d try to stop being a cvnt so this is me trying.

Everyone is accountable. But yeah, I get you man.

I love my Canes but don’t get your *** whipped if don’t want fans to stay home. I always blame coaches caused they cash checks. We write the checks so be very careful blaming us. Last year the fans rocked the world in the Rock like old OB days. Nobody had it better than that ea, last year. We did out part.

What he wrote was "I let these fans touch my feels"

Soft in the booty type schit.
