Crow eating time

Looks like I’m back to mope-mode
It’s so on brand to beat ND, UF & FSU and then lose to Louisville - and I’m with those worried about SMU and Pitt.

I get the pics and Beck, he was atrocious, but what’s with this prevent offense we run? These running plays are terrible. The jet sweep Malachi scored on and the Malachi pass play were nice plays. It’s like Dawson is Jekyll and Hyde.

Crown being served for
  • Mark “Put’em on a Stretcher” Fletcher, CIS said he was mid and has no wiggle
  • The whole WR room, CIS said they were unproven and can’t depend on true freshmen
  • Akheem “the dream” Mesidor, CIS said he was mid and his snaps needed to go to the young guys
  • Chase Smith, CIS said he will never play here and moves like a robot
  • Miami defense, CIS said this defense will be ok at best
  • And the countless other ridiculous takes about this team
  • Defensive Line, CIS saiid it was mid at best, DT is a major concern, and can Blay even play at this level

  • Mark “Put’em on a Stretcher” Fletcher - rushed for 115 with a TD, again he is not a mid RB
  • The whole WR room - did not have a good night
  • Akheem “the dream” Mesidor - was dominate, again he is nit mid
  • Chase Smith - I didn’t see him tonight
  • Miami defense - was dominate, a lot better than ok
  • Defensive Line - was dominate, see above

So the same crowd is being served with the exception of the WR room
yet again, Poster child of what not to do four weeks into the season.

We’re going to win, as we should against a team of this caliber missing multiple starters. So at least we got that.

But I’ve got more questions than answers on offense going into conference play, that’s for **** sure. This is nowhere close to a Cam Ward led offense, people that believed that nonsense were insane. Trying to spin this balanced narrative…lol.

Seeing teams light up ND, it makes you think.

What we saw today was not a national championship-caliber offense. FSU in two weeks. Lot to work on. Beck, OL, receivers not getting separation…everyone.

People that thought we’d blow them out and hang 40…well let’s see how quick they pull the “UF has talent and fought hard, weather was a factor, oh they Blew the Marty carry dead early, the refs hate us, etc”.

Like what is the point of parading evaluations three weeks in? To prove you’re right to a bunch of internet strangers? All you’re asking is to look like a complete fool. Let’s play some games and get to 7, 8-0 with two months body of work, then let’s dissect.
Makes you think….but what do I know? I just work for a sportsbook and analyze every single college football team with modeling and advanced analytics like a psychopath 6 days a week.

Every year the MarioBro faithful take an early receipt bumping victory lap trying to shame posters only to have November happen. SMH
The thing is…like @IndayArtHauz started a thread on - I’m not even ****ed. I’ve come to expect this, especially in games that we will get out X’d and O’d.

Going 12-0 is hard, I completely understand that. But after running the table against your toughest rivals, your biggest opponents…you’re coming off a bye…you know the opposing team will be prepared, will execute, and have players from South Florida ready to go to war…and yet we still show up unprepared?

We made zero adjustments on Chris Bell running drags and crossers over the middle. Brohm really just saw it was working and kept hitting the button over and over. We got gashed with misdirection run plays and (surprise!), Louisville’s diverse rushing attack - pulling athletic OL in space (crazy concept), running when facing light boxes…it was a masterclass.

Meanwhile, we’re inside zone **** near every 1st and 10 or 2nd and 9 and Louisville can see it…they just stack the box on early downs or call up a run blitz. They did not fear our WRs. No diversity, no imagination. Just “push them up front” seems to be our strategy, despite being out-numbered.

That is the definition or bonehead behavior, but it perfectly encapsulates our HC’s train of thought.

Like you said. November came early.
After September and FSU, I thought we were going to finally be different. But like I said to someone previously, in 2025 we were 9-0 until we weren’t.

We could actually run the table now, get into the CFB playoffs while not making it to the ACCCG.

I told people at work and what not that Louisville, SMU, and Pitt are the final tests. Well they are 0-1. Now they have to go on the road for the final 2 against two teams who could easily beat them.

Unless something really changes, I think we lose those two and end up 8-3 and get a consolation bid to the Toilet Bowl.

Brother this was beautiful, could not have said it any better. Definitely did not expect 12-0, Mario stinkers are as sure as death/taxes but that was absolutely pitiful.

Ah well, on to the next and hoping that was last one although I highly, highly doubt it unfortunately.

Correct. It’s wild and outlandish that anyone would look at all of the data past and present and come to any other conclusion.

Louisville is a significantly better and more talented team than those two. Last night was bad. Losing to either of those two would be completely inexcusable.

If Miami loses one more that’s it. No ACC and no playoff. There will be other teams that deserve to get in before them. Beck is toast so I have zero confidence in him going forward. **** I never even liked him to begin with but I stayed quiet until the Florida game.

He looks like the injury is bothering him- at least yesterday he did.

The pitch option to score then the 2 point pitch option pass to score? You know he's got some plays.
