Cronkrite Vs Walton

Lmao at Token being MIA since his boy ran from competition

He didn't run from competition, staff moved on from him. I'm quiet because I tell what is going on and I'm told I'm lying

I don't think you're lying Token. I don't doubt you believe what you're saying. I just think Walton's recruitment/reclassification has more of an impact than stories about staff slow playing him.

It has literally nothing to do with it. The second Ice took over they basically stopped talking to JC. Ice wanted his guy I understand but to slow play a beast like JC is just ridiculous.

So its just coincidence that within an hour of the news of Walton reclassifying comes out that Cronk publicly decommits?

Again, I like Cronk. I would have been totally fine if he had stayed and Walton walked. I think people are sleeping on him. And I don't blame him for looking elsewhere.

Its all a moot point now anyway. The situation resolved itself exactly how people expected it to pending Walton's reclassification.

These things do not jibe.

I went to HS and played football with Alvin Harper. I tried my best to get him to go to UM but he was having none of it. He was as confident a player as I ever knew, but he was certainly "concerned" about the the talent level at UM. He wound up at UT (Fulmer moneybags cough cough) and it all worked out for him in the end, but I always wondered what might have been had he went to UM. If you think top guys aren't looking at depth charts you're nuts.

We're about to pull one of the best (on paper) RB classes in the history of Miami, including two local legends, and the most dynamic back in FL and some people are actually complaining.

Got it. Sounds legit.

You commented in the other thread that the Cronkrite's went to local reporters on how Miami recruited him. Is this true?

No one went to a local reporter.

Then why did you say this:

Let's just say the messages from the staff were shared with a few writers

We know the staff isn't talking to writers about specifics in recruiting, that only leaves the Cronkrite's

Even though I like Walton over Cronk as a runningback.

For anyone bashing Cronk.

You're crazy, he is a talented back. I don't view his potential and ceiling as high as the others and I viewed him as a better fit at safety than runningback at the next level, but he is very talented.

Don't kid yourself. Cronk is a kid I would have liked to keep 'cause even if he didn't pan out at RB, I think he would have been great on defense at safety either way.

I do think Cronk will do well wherever he goes, whether it's on offense or defense. And **** I hope he makes me eat crow and ends up just as good as I think the other 3's ceilings are and if not a great safety like I've tabbed him in the past.

Do I find it weird he decommitted as soon as the Walton news came out? Not at all, I called it for a very long time that he would decommit if Walton reclassified. Regardless of what anyone says. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just the way I view it, saw it coming. The dominoes fell in place as I expected it would.

Either way, it's time to move on guys. I wish Cronk the best. It is what it is. Scarlett, Williams and Walton are an elite haul at the end of the day. I'm happy and everyone else should be.
