Cronkite is Gone

Like I originally said, what makes walton better than cronk, people are so quick to say one is better than the other but can not give a detail response why, if one person can explain why than maybe I'll be convinced and rep them to the fullest.

He's more elusive, catches better, has better vision, and plays big in big games.

Who the **** slow plays arguably the best back in Dade county?

The team with the other two best RB's in Dade County

Scarlett plays in Broward numb nuts. 0 reason to slow play a kid this good in your back yard regardless if Walton reclassifies or not.

This is just semantics at this point. Scarlett and Walton are the best backs in South Florida. Better?

I can think of one. Maybe they are not lying about taking only 2 RBs and think the other two are better. Regardless of where they play. I consider Broward and Dade as one anyways.

I'll say something else. I was always impressed with his yards per carry. I thought that was pretty good averaging over 10 a run. His competition is different yes. But Cronk is no slouch if some peeps are trying to make him out like that.

I do like the other 3 more as RB prospects than him, but I do view Cronk as a great player and I viewed him with more upside on defense than offense. I didn't see him with the same ceiling or potential as the other 3 on offense but on defense could have seen him in that same light as a great safety as I see their potential to be great backs. Really thought Cronk could have been a stud safety.

No need to argue over this anymore guys. Regardless, we still got 3 stud backs coming in this class to add on to Yearby and Gray from last year.

Wish Cronk the best and hope he does well. But as I said earlier, it is what is.

I will call this now though. All 4 are always gonna be compared to each other through college and god willing the pros too as well as they will
Be compared with Frasier and Patrick for FSU.

It's just like how Yearby and Gray will always be compared against Cook and Michel and Powell through their respective careers as well.

This will all be settled a few years from now.

I would just like to clarify that JC did not decommit because of the Walton situation. Now the staff may have decided to change their strategy with JC as the Walton situation played itself out but it didn't affect JC one way or another. What made him decommit is because of the staff and what was being said. Now some people may not believe what I'm about to say but this is what it is. I've mentioned before about only taking 2backs and everything that was happening going into August and within that time the staff changed their tone numerous times as to the benefit of playing with 2 others in your class and then the next week say we are only taking 2. This bothered JC a little because he could never get a straight story from the staff collectively. Then after Ice took over the RB position that was the last day Cronkrite had any contact with the staff.

JC decided to see how things played out from there and then his father reached out to the staff on a few occasions about the situation and lack of communication and received mixed signals once again. Then the mother reached out and Friday night one of their coaches replied saying JC hasn't been in response at all, has not posted any of the graphics he had sent him through Twitter and overall he never thought his commitment was ever legit or solid from the beginning.

And that is all JC needed to hear. It hurt him to hear that because UM is his team and where he wanted to be but the staff could never be straight up with him.

But with everything you've said since the beginning, he was going to eventually decommitt anyway, right? It just seems like no matter what the blame is always being put on the staff.

I don't think you guys have much to worry about honestly.

Walton, Scarlett, and Williams are all better. Miami has a loaded backfield already. I don't get the Cronkrite hype, hope he doesn't go to UF.

I would have liked Cronk in this class. And I think he needs to do whats best for him and don't blame him for walking.

But there is no need to go into who said or didn't say what. Nothing shady about what went down. No bs rumors.

News breaks of Walton reclassifying. Within hours Cronk publicly decommits.

Occam's Razor.

Smh @ thinking anything Token posts about this situation is BS. He's been spot on the entire process with JC

Won't fault him but really wish he stayed on board. Really like him as a prospect.

Guess we'll have to revisit this a few years down the road and see how it all played out. Scarlett is my favorite of the bunch by a bit, kids a monster. We gotta keep these 3 on board. Also wonder if anything else happens whether we would be able to bring Cronkrite back on board.

good luck to cronk, liked him as a prospect and he will ball out wherever he goes to, staffs slow play kids everywhere, **** FSU slow played jaquan at one point, its just the recruiting game, staff must really feel good about dex and scarlett, walton is coming regardless so, had a feeling this was going to happen when scarlett committed, but good luck to cronk

I think we are finally trying to weed out some guys as well so we can free up some schollys.

We should focus on trying to weed out a couple of our 19 OL commits. Not that we don't clearly need OL help. But there appears to be a few bigger fish still in play for us at OL. Not to mention our glaring needs at DL, DB, LB.

I just can't believe we had all four committed at one time. In comparison to last year, it would be like having yearby, cook, michel, and powell. Probably even better than those four.

Cronkite retweeted it...catfish hole must be a special place

@JC_Knows You should def visit Fayetteville bro, seriously reach out to the coaches, Coach B is building something special up here! WPS

But he was lied to. But he was born a Hurricane. But he has street whisperers. But I haven't heard from the staff so I'll decommit right before the game starts.
