Is it me, or does Mario almost always find ways to answer questions about a player into mentioning other players in the same position group.

Many things stand out but here are three

1 He said players will EARN opportunities. Said earn 3-4 times.
2 he said John Campbell will gen one of the best OL in the country. Wow.
3 in response to recruiting and High schools he said he wanted to MEND relationships. The word escaped out of his mouth and then he used reestablish relationships

I may have PTSD, but he sounded like Al Golden about half way thru the press conference.

Let’s hope he can deliver on what he’s selling.

I’ve been watching these player interview videos since I joined the site in 2014. Never missed one (probably the thing I enjoy the most bc you get some insight on how these kids actually are) Citizen is an absolute stud. That’s one of if not the best I’ve ever seen. What a humble kid.

i came away with the same impression. good natured, mature and funny. and serious about his business. it's very subtle but there is a lot to take away from the interview. a lot.
