Most commentators that were arguing against were just doing so because they thought Miami would drop the game at Pitt. Then they would have put themselves in the position of "told you so" and they could have taken their victory laps.

I do believe there is some truth to this. I’m sure the majority of the committee and national media probably felt that this would take care of itself and we’d drop one after SMU when the discussion began to get heavy. I still don’t believe they will fix it though.

Agree 100%, he is really good at what he does. Him and Kelly Gramlich are great reps for this dam conference.. Wish them both well
