Cristobal from football scoop...

Lol..

But if we being honest.. this seasoned version of Mario, is most likely, a much better scenario and potentially great outcomes for us, then if we hired him back than.

Oh.. and UM didn’t give AF about supporting FB back then anyway,.

So in the long run.. it all worked out perfectly.. hopefully 🙂

Regardless of what he was 6+ years ago, today he's a proven winner who's already putting together an elite staff & salvaged our recruiting class from the abomination it was into a respectable top 15 class with legitimate upside.

Mario is exactly what this program needed.

I hope he didn’t become a noles fan but this is just a good example of finding old “reciepts”

I think this bump is an attempt to dunk on some people but the reality is 2015 Mario would’ve been a bad hire. He needed 6 years away and UM needed to be on the precipice of extinction in order to get where we are today.
Sure but I can’t help but enjoy some of the proclamations of never watching UM football again if Mario was hired.
And some of the comments were very personal towards Mario like ‘he’s an ******* and everyone hates him’. That not exactly the same as arguing he isn’t ready YET to be the coach.

Knocking anyone for not wanting Mario in 2015 is cringe.
Mark Stoops was probably the only candidate who wanted the job who was worth a **** at that point. Other than Stoops Mario was definitely a good candidate. Let's not front like the Manny deserves more time folks after 2020 season didn't want Mario then as well.

Receipts gahdamnit!!! Receipts!!! All u muhfuccas… No seriously… this ain’t the same Mario. This ain’t the same program. ****, this ain’t the same program it was, 2 months ago. All y’all forgiven for that. People was still mad at Mario for telling Al Golden to kick rocks.

How many people are begging for Mario without the new money and commitment to football? A lot more has changed than just getting Mario to Miami. Getting Mario is a big deal but the money and renewed commitment is a bigger deal. Without the money we're not getting Mario or anyone else worth a **** either.

Post them receipts away, but we also have to be honest and say the Mario of six years ago is not the Mario of today. Today’s Mario is worth a lot more money.

That was a discount Mario without Alabama or P5 head-coaching experience.

Fax.

It wouldn’t have mattered who Miami hired in 2015. The program was broke and living in 1987. And miss me with the 2017 Richt nonsense. That was lipstick on a pig, and I’m not even saying that with 20/20 hindsight. We all knew it at time, too.
