A Charlotte family said they finally felt a sense of justice Thursday after two people were sentenced in federal court for cyberstalking and extorting a Chick-fil-A employee who later died by suicide.

A federal judge on Thursday called this a “very serious” extortion case and sentenced Cullon to 41 months in prison.

Stone was sentenced to 27 months.


Disgusting. One has to be truly, truly evil to bully a mentally disabled person so badly that they commit suicide because they don’t understand what is happening and they think they were in the wrong. And then to get 41 and 27 months? It’s sickening.

Agreed! and for just $300. The judge who gave them short sentences is an idiot; that is not justice.

Interestingly, it was a federal judge, which means federal sentencing guidelines. Judges simply calculate the sentence based on the guidelines. They got a shorter sentence because they took a plea.

But with federal sentencing, there’s no parole, so there’s that.
