Craig Kuligowski

Interesting. How's he as a recruiter? Obviously has a proven track record of development. Would love to see what he could do with Miami caliber talent at DL.

Started following Joe Jackson and Bethel. And a bunch of the same targets on the DLine that we've heard since Richt joined

Guess it could mean nothing, but if not :monkey-serious:

Edit: also following Aranda

Yeah, he was also following UofWashington, but that program just hired the DL coach from Utah State.
We hire him, I will fap so hard I will need Tommy John surgery on the non-fapping arm.

Odom also confirmed that defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski wouldn’t return next season.

“Craig’s done an unbelievable job and I’ve said a number of times that (he’s one of), if he’s not, the best D line coach in the country,” Odom said. “He’ll be a coordinator and will be very successful wherever he ends up.

How would you feel if he was our DC? Though judging by his follows (only DLine) maybe we are actually following thru with this paying assistants thing and are bringing in one of the best DLine coaches in the country.

MUST. HIRE.

This would be a mega hire, and I'd crown Richt's ***. Kuligowski would be our first monster position coach in years. Who was our last really great position coach?

Negged for bringing up recruiting for a guy who has put out a dozen NFL lineman

Condisering that south Florida isn't producing too many DTs recently, we will need someone who can convince SEC fat bodies to come down here.

Would want him to be DC, but it doesn't look like anyone else is jumping on him as a DC. So he might be willing to come here as DL coach if we slap a giant bag of cash in his face and give him a shiny title.

No one area consistently produces elite DTs on a consistent basis for no other reason that there simply aren't many huge/wide-bodies that are athletic
and tough enough to play the position.
Yeah, we had William Joseph, Wilfork and some others a few years ago, but it is rare to have that many studs in one area, at the same time.
We have to recruit everywhere for these guys.
A guy like Kuligowski can just focus on the handful of DLmen that he wants to recruit, and let the other coaches worry about filling remainder of
roster.

The results he produces with our current roster will do the recruiting for him. Elite DL coach.

One could always make him co-DC/DT coach and have an assistant DL coach working under him as they do at other places.
Just have another grey beard on that side of the ball to assist with DC duties.
There are way to get him if he wants to come.
Just get his **** to Coral Gables.

A front 4 of AQM, Moten, Willis, and Thomas is talented. Would figure he could get those guys to ball. Still need to fix the depth particularly at DT. DE was recruited much better than DT over the last few years.

Could be an ideal situation to have a guy like Kareem Brown be Kuligowski's assistant DL coach and stay glued to his side. We'd be situating him to be the next DL coach. If you need to make Kuligowski co-DC then do it. But just hire a proven guy to be the real DC.
