Wasn't retained by Barry Odom and Missouri. They have already hired a DC and DL coach.

Shouldn't that say something about Missouri that they would rather have an outsider coach their D-Line rather than someone they know and have worked with for years?

Not sure why this concept is hard to understand for some. Same reason Rick Petri was let go by Al Golden (huge mistake on his end), even though our D-line had posted significantly great numbers in terms of sacks and TFL the year Randy got fired.

Yeah. It says that Kuligowski wanted the DC job that Pinkel gave to Odom last year. Odom doesn't want the guy on staff who wanted his job last time around. Maybe there's some harsh feelings there.

This is the kind of guy who you need to grab if he falls into your lap. He is a major difference maker on the DL.
 
Well, the good news is that everyone knows who Richt is and coaches also know that Miami is one of the easiest places to compete for championships...

With a solid staff budget, Richt should have plenty of quality opportunities for each staff position...

Hopefully he chooses wisely...
 
Here's the guy's Twitter handle. It almost sells you on him alone...well that and his resume of producing pro ready d-linemen. The guy is also retweeting the Pope. It's like he's already reaching out to Richt!

Richt stated he won't micromanage his DC, so I doubt Richt would hire a DC without the DC having staff input. If he has someone lined up for DC he/they may likely have a defensive staff in mind.

The Missouri DL coach has SEC East ties so Richt is very familar with him.
