Couple Thoughts

I don't care how many stars all the failed mailmen gave Heaps and Olsen coming out of HS... stars don't mean ****. They are 2 or 3 star talents.

"Their coaches and players executed better than ours and this seems to happen every game."

Judging the frequency of technical issues this site seems to have, this moronic statement from an administrator comes as no surprise.

Andrews statement is about the most obvious fact on the planet even for the biggest of homers. What f!ckimg games have you been watching the last two years? Where is the game day coaching we are all missing?

you can be a supporter without abject denial. Holy crap.

To be fair, Olsen wasn't competing for the job. So he beat out Jake Heaps. In todays CFB if you can't get out of the pocket, you better do everything else well. Going back to last years bowl I'm far more concerned about Coley right now.

But we are NOT recruiting. Free Shoes and UF PWN us, even in our own back yard. Anybody any good gets sniped by OSU*, LSU etc.

And if you don't think UL is gonna cherry pick us in S Fl, you are a delusional Golden slurper.

Basically what I am getting at is we have too many heavily recruited QB's for them to perform like they do. If all of our QB's were to come up in another program surely we would have at least 1 big time QB.

The program has been a **** show during Goldens tenure. Before as well but that's a different discussion. It's as though the players have never been coached, the amount of confusion and missed tackles, mistakes etc is mind blowing and it's been happening since Goldens very first game. This team has not improved. It's trajectory is a flat line. Golden has simply failed in nearly every facet of the program. Time to just move on from this coaching staff regardless of our record at the end of the season

2 of which have been on campus for less then 3 months and the other suspended 2 games. And the reason why Golden has had to depend on them before being ready is because of the Williams injury. Olsen should have been next in line to step up but the kid hasn't been able to get his act together. You want blame that on Golden?
I'm just as frustrated as the next guy but some objectivity won't make you less of a fan.

Louisville will not "cherry pick" South Florida and never has. They get leftovers after the major programs are done getting theirs. And that has nothing to do with "Golden slurping".

Surprised you unlatched your white-knuckle grip on Golden's ******* long enough to slap this *** post into your keyboard.

Canecuntry is a soft shouldered ******
slurpers mad they put so much effort into hanging off of AG's nuts for nothing.

Mopers happy because they get to continue to be miserable pieces of ****?

I just want to win. I don't want to have to change coaches every 4 freaking years. I supported Larry and Randy until it became clear they could not lead us to another championship. I believe we've now seen the same, if not a worse, incompetency from Al Golden's staff. I want a new coaching staff, one that's ready to win national championships, because we have way too much ******* talent in South Florida to not be a top 5-10 team every year. Getting blown out against Louisville twice is absolutely inexcusable.

Butch Davis is that coach that can right the ship

I'm not arguing that Miami needs to execute better but I'm not on the bandwagon that UM was out coached by FAMU. That being said I would love to vote big Levon Kirkland for our next Defensive coordinator.

Let's be honest...the program has been a **** show since the Fiesta Bowl loss. I feel like talent wise we aren't far away at all. Basically what I am saying is that if we could get somebody competent in here it wouldn't be a total rebuilding project like it was when they let Randy go. When you look at the success that some of these smaller schools have against the "Big Five" conferences it makes you want to vomit when you watch what we are doing. Football shouldn't be this difficult when you have the kind of athletes that we have. You almost have to try to be as bad as we have been. Very tough to watch...

Morris looked like a draftable QB under Fisch, the Coley comes aboard and he regresses and now the other QB's on the roster look like **** as well. It's on the coaches.

It should be noted that even with Fisch's propensity for shenanigans, he made 2 horrible QB's look all world when he was here.

Williams couldn't beat our Morris so why is he all of sudden the second coming? The top 4 QBR in the NCAA right now are all Sophomore's and the last 2 Heisman winners were redshirt Freshman. I am not bashing the players but rather their development and the play calling. Yes I do blame Golden for not keeping his prized QB focused.

I've been railing AG for months on here about his inability to recruit and develop the most important position on our team.

In fairness to RW. He was completing over 70% of his passes in spring before the knee kicked his ***.

Kaaya needs to put more zip on his throws. He is just floating his passes.

His arm looked better last night. That's really all I cared about in that game.

I haven't read the threads but apparently there's plenty of complaining. Bottom line, when you throw the ball against an opponent of that caliber it's a negative play. It reduces your opportunity to create a huge margin. In Las Vegas my friends and I for more than two decades have had a very simple formula for betting games with a massive pointspread: Give the points with running teams and take the points when the favorite is a passing team. Somehow the conventional wisdom is the opposite. Bar stool types panic and want the ball in the air to produce quick points. Meanwhile, the running teams break huge plays while physically wearing down the opponent, enabling second half points, and avoiding stupid turnovers like the lobbed and deflected interceptions. Last night I felt sorry for all the guys who bet that spread from 40 to 46. We simply weren't running the ball. I kept close track of it. We didn't manage our 30th rush until less than 5 minutes remained.

We were ******** around, partially because James Coley's typical play calling is ******** around and partially because we weren't concerned with the margin and were trying to see what Kaaya is capable of.

Heaps looked like Heaps. Same guy I used to watch and bet against at BYU and Kansas. I prefer Kaaya above Heaps, even if Kaaya strangely appears to have a decent arm on occasion while on other plays it still seems lacking. Kaaya was more relaxed last night so the downfield balls came out of his hand with more authority. The deep touchdown pass was in the same direction as our field goal that came up woefully short minutes earlier. The wind swirls in that stadium but it appeared to be heading into the wind. I was impressed that Kaaya managed to reach the back of the end zone on that throw.

Kaaya seems to tighten up on sideline passes into tight quarters, often coming up short. Besides, those plays aren't ideal for his skill set anyway.
