First of all, pay attention to special teams tomorrow, they could tell a huge story (as they usually do, but especially for this team because Miami is absolutely abysmal)

But BC has blocked TWO kicks both of their last 2 games. 4 blocked kicks in the last 2 games. Obviously, Hartley needs to have the kids ready. They're going to be coming.

Also, BC has only ATTEMPTED 3 FGs all season, but they were all in the last couple games as well. They've had major kicking woes this year, missing 5 XPs, but they may have found their kicker as they've gone 3-3 recently. But this team will go for it on 4th down unless they're down close to scoring range. They've gone for it on 4th down 18 times, which is T-13 in the country. Only successful 50% of the time though, which ranks in the 70s. But Addazio is not scared to go for it rather than attempt even moderate FGs. Keep an eye on that as they often call plays on 3rd down knowing they're in 4 down territory when most teams feel they're in FG range.

Turnovers have been a big story for them this year also. They have forced the same amount of turnovers as Miami so far this season (17), which is tied for 7th in the country. As always, Miami HAS TO protect the ball, especially on the road.

Also, this isn't your grandpa's BC team. They go more uptempo this year than I've ever seen before....evidenced by them ranking 53rd in plays run (Miami is 97th). So don't expect 3 yards and a cloud of dust with AJ Dillon. They'll move with purpose tomorrow.

Overall, they're a little bit better on defense than offense, but they're not exceptional in either area. Brown, the QB, has cooled off considerably after looking like Aaron Rodgers the first few weeks. Regression to the mean there. But as usual, contain Dillon the best you can, don't let him rip off several huge runs and you should be OK.

26 points wins this game. I think Miami can get there, provided they can win or at least match hidden yardage, force a turnover or two and get a couple short fields. Close game, tough game, but Miami prevails 26-20.

Thanks for posting, I saw that they had two TDs off of blocked punts in the last 2 weeks. It's not a long putt to predict they will block one on Friday

Solid info. Thanks.

So basically their kicker will have the game of his life and their QB will look like Rogers. Got it.

Haha exactly. What kicker doesn't have the game of his life against Miami?

I watched UVA vs Duke last Saturday....early 2nd quarter, UVA's kicker lines up for I think about a 35 yard FG. Literally not even close. Never had a remote chance of going in. But against Miami, he's Justin Tucker. #OfCourse

Looks like the Nor'easter with heavy rain/winds is gonna hit Saturday. Should be OK Fri nite.

We got incredibly lucky with this game on Friday instead of Saturday. Friday is going to be gorgeous....no clouds, low 50s all day, high 40s through the game. Picture perfect night. Saturday is going to be absolutely miserable. Heavy wind and rain all day.

Kicker will def nail a 80yarder into the wind.

Our punt protection has been better as of late but it wouldn't surprise me if we get one blocked

If we lose to Addazio, Orgeron & a guy named Bronco in one season, I'll just end it all. #ThreeStooges

BC has given up some crucial blocked kicks too. Their STs are poor overall. But they found something on punt block recently.

And the reason Brown cooled off is because Dillon has been out. Teams have had to dedicate 8 or 9 guys to stopping that beast. Ankles are tough for RBs to bounce back from in season as we’ve seen with Walton and others.

Good stuff. I don't want to here about kicking woes. Everyone always seems to get right when they play us. Lol

No secret we bring out the best in everyone. Could it be that we're just THAT BAD? This team has looked like a meh mid major for 15 years. Something tells me it's going to stay that way. for the rest of my life. Maybe some of you younger guys will be around when a competent coach falls in our lap like Schnelly did.

FIU will win a NC before we ever see a playoff caliber team. Butch will mold a champion. We will just load up on more JAGS and FSU and UF rejects and do nothing with them.

Recruiting rankings:

2016
Miami 22
BC 78

2017
Miami 12
BC 67

2018
Miami 8
BC 71

UVA was Richt's annual "lose a game you have no business losing." Let's move on and win the rest of the garbage schedule.

Could be a good opportunity for a fake punt or field goal, if the Canes want to be proactive about it.

Jesus, cry much? Thankfully you're old, hopefully you're out of your misery soon.

Great stuff. Many times, these under the radar facets go unnoticed until one impacts the game.
