I think this 2026 canes team is potentially as good as the 2000 or 2002 version and should be in the national title hunt all year. We certainly have the talent and depth. It's tough to compare to 2001 since that was the best team of all time. Whether we win it all or not will be based on several factors like injuries, etc. This is shaping up to be a special year but time will tell.

We will know a lot more come Oct 3 after Clemson game likely. Nov 7 is huge also, could decide whether we get a 1 seed or not. But we still have to play the games so we shall see.
